I'll "get it" when he starts fighting someone who isn't complete dogfood. Who was his last opponent? Where had I heard of him before? Oh yes, nowhere.

Maybe he's the goods but I don't see it. Plodding around with a mean scowl pawing out his left to measure guys out for his telegraphed right hand doesn't scream next level boxing to me. As for sparring stories, they're like a**holes. Everyone has them, and most of them stink. Some also get exposed to the public and savaged.

Usyk is the biggest treat to him hands down.

Hrgovic unfortunately is a bum in the pros. He's going nowhere. He looked like absolute dog**** in his last few fights. Slow and plodding, gassed after 2 or 3 rounds and power overrated as well. Both Fury and Usyk would smoke Hrgovic. Even guys like Joyce would beat him comfortably. Not sure what the OP smoked but considering Hrgovic as a threat is a damn stretch at this point.

He makes his opponents dog food. Molina was a former contender, he was dog food. Watch his fights, you will see, where Fury sometimes struggles he shines, always. Has not lost a round yet. I agree he needs to fight better. Not his fault. The next opponent should be better, he's only had 13 pro fights.

I'll care about Hrgovic when he actually fights someone with a pulse.

Molina a contender? That's a stretch, stopped by Arreola in 1, his best win was a shot to hell Adamek, he's lost every time he's stepped up, even Breazeale stopped him. He was a D lister who got lucky enough to be picked by Wilder for an easy defence and lucky again Haymon used him to fight Joshua as one of the 2 fights where he had options on Joshua after Joshua beat Martin.

Hrgovic didn't even fight a prime Molina but an old, past prime, overweight Molina. Molina was a fine opponent to pad Hrgovic's record at the time as it was only his 10th fight. But people are expecting more now, back in 2018 when Hrgovic had beaten Mansour and Johnson he was probably the top prospect to watch but he's now been surpassed by Joyce and even Yoka with their recent fights. The last 2-3 years his opposition level hasn't improved at all, he's gone from leader of the pack to the one trailing at the back from the class of 2016.

Do feel AJ could give fury problems if this was a more aggresive AJ. I do hope we see that AJ again because this current one seems way to scared to push the gas when he needs to.
