To be fair, the highlight of Tillis' career was beating Shavers and a lot of these guys give the highest praise to the ones they beat while downplaying the strengths of the ones they lose to.
This is not news to anyone who knows boxing. The way you say it implies a majority of people here actually think Power=Greatness It doesn't make you witty or clever to point out the obvious to people who already know you just come off as a casual.
So you hate people who don't know better and are probably new or want to have there own opinions on something so objective?
First of all, I didn't say that the majority of people on this site believe that power=greatness. You inserted that straw man. Second, some (not all) people on this site do struggle to accept that some lesser fighters might have hit harder than some champions. You joined less than a month ago but you're attempting to lecture me about what the majority of people believe here?
For you guys who are interested in watching Biggs Vs Sims, here's a highlight that made: This content is protected It's a really great fight actually. The most scariest part in this fight is when Sims hit him with a hard left jab that made Biggs head went slump for a split second.
It's interesting what he said that about Tubbs. They fought in that ill-fated one-night heavyweight tournament, so it was only three rounds. Seems like former top amateurs have the right mental makeup to do well in those types of tournaments (I believe Audley Harrison won two of them as a pro).
