Frank Maloney - although I don't understand the transgender game, I respect him for having the courage to pickle his onions and then go on Celeb Big Brother to publicly explain it. All out in the open and must have taken some bottle.
Credit him for how he has built his stable, yes he had a head start from Daddy, but he has worked hard. Dislike the fact that PPVs is now the norm because of him blowing his fighters up into something they aren't (Looking at you here Dillian Whyte)
PPV was frequent before Hearn. https://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/11979/6356087/the-magnificent-seven
I like him, he’s quite funny but is certainly very contradictory - including the DAZN PPV debacle’s that’s coming out now. I think he’s done a lot more good than bad for British boxing which is worth a mention.
Gotta say I like him. He's an absolute spoofer but he seems like a decent fella. Seems to care for his fighters, unless they're managed by Joe.
Well its not just Eddie Hearn deciding a fighter is a ppv box office draw and the public then accept that. If it was that easy you would see a lot more fighters on ppv but it's not that easy. Nobody forced the public to buy those ppv fights. There is only so much Hearn and sky could do and then it was up to the public. Remember when itv thought it was easy after looking at the success of sky box office and went ahead with itv box office and those fights flopped hard on ppv. Itv quickly realised they couldn't bank on ppv as not everyone is AJ and got themselves out of boxing. Some fighters like it or not just have that x factor about them which people are happy to pay for while the majority don't have it.
Look i know you like Hearn but do you think, Dillian Whyte has the " X factor"? Or is it more to do with Hearn selling a Turd dressed up as steak? Credit to him for being able to do so but its more to do with his BS skills than Dillian having any X factor
For what its worth I really enjoyed that show at the time, though if I remember a few of the fights fell through from the original line up.
