Should Usyk bulk up more muscles for the rematch with Joshua?

Agreed. For me, more than anything though, AJ really needs to start formulating his Plan B's... Whenever he fights, he seems to just stick to Plan A, even when it's not going his way which makes life easier for his opponents.

In this rematch, Usyk knows full well that AJ is going to be coming in with a different game-plan, and Usyk will have a very good idea of what that game-plan will be. Usyk will adjust to this accordingly, and AJ needs to be prepared to fallback on to a Plan B to shake things up a bit mid-fight in the event that Usyk neutralises whatever he is trying to do.

I think it's a safe bet that AJ's Plan A is going to be to try and overwhelm Usyk with his power. Usyk will be more than ready for that in my opinion, so AJ's got to have a trick up his sleeve / Plan B or he'll be found wanting again.

No. He should just do exactly what he did before.

Why do you think Usyk stood off him at the end of the 12th? I watched it back yesterday and I reckon he could have knocked him down but he just stepped back and waited for the bell.

Was he just being nice or was there an element of not showing his full arsenal before the rematch?

I don't think for one minute he was being nice.

He said himself he was told not to go for the knockout, but for me he just let AJ know that even that far into the fight, he can take it to a higher gear/level, who knows the rematch may begin with round 13 where usyk left off, either way I believe it has done more to damage AJs already doubts that he has about himself immensely.

    Everyone is correct, unusual anonymity.
More muscle will slow him down & may sap some endurance.
He was not built to carry more than he has already built up anyway, with his bone structure.
Foreman could be that weight at the same height dehydrated & lean, without bulking.

Usyk has a different build & that he could gain & still look so good is very impressive.
Weighing near 230, let alone more, whether fat or muscle or a combination, can only hamper him.

Whatever weight he chooses to come in at - and I doubt it will be much more than 220 - he will be a better version of himself in his 4th fight at HW compared to his 3rd. Just look at the trend from fight one to fight three, each time against better opponents...

If it’s not broke don’t fix it…. No need to change anything his weight was good for the first fight.

Should come in at 300 give the bodybuilder flashbacks to Ruiz and watch him have a panic attack

Why the f*ck should he bulk up more muscles? He was in perfect shape in first fight. He might be even thinner because he had some stamina issues.

Completely agree - Joshua isnt deluded about his performance. The second fight will not look the same as many seem to think. But Usyk is smart - I think he has even more in the tank than we've seen, and will make his own adjustments...

    Absolutely!!!

He should completely change his body style into a new form that may or may not benefit him against a fighter that he didn't even have to shift out of first gear for

That's the thing about Usyk. Joshua will spend the next few months coming up with a new strategy.

Then Usyk will spend 2 rounds figuring it out and will change his strategy to counter. That's the difference between a boxer and a fighter.
