Great documentary. Love hearing about Bartley Gormon and it's mad how much boxing runs in the Fury veins Tyson is definitely the culmination of a very unique lineage, and with how many undefeated ancestors he has you can see him doing the same throughout his own career. Usyk will be his biggest test
Usyk is getting nearer to the end more so than Fury He has to strike quickly or he'll miss his window to edge Fury.
On one side of Fury is Bartley Gorman and Uriah Burton is on the other side (maybe his wife’s side). Uriah was King of the Gypsies before Bartley then retired and then Bartley took on the mantle .
no offense, but there is no dynasty... lol... Only one in the family that can box is Tyson..... I've seen John Fury fight, I've seen Tommy fight... and yeah... they don't have it
Dynasty? John Fury got KTFO by Steve Garber & Henry Akinwande, the way he calls out legends like Tyson & Holyfield is hilarious, Tyson is the only fighting Fury.
This was an extremely good little mini doc, heart on sleeve type stuff. I found the part where John was talking about when Tyson first opened up to him about his mental health issues particularly moving.
Bartley Gorman V had a tremendous soul, you can tell it from the way he sung. Beautiful voice, full of character, timbre overflowing with generosity of spirit and strange, sweet melancholy. You can't teach a man to sing like that. It comes from within. He was very well regarded by non-gypsies of Uttoxeter, from what I've gathered. By accounts, a caliber of man you don't meet every day.
Yeah he was putting it on a little too thick through the entire fight week The 2nd bout he was in full form, steely focused and super calm. Got himself a little amped, probably needed it with his form not peak for the third bout. Usyk is the only man who will make Fury find his final gear again. Everyone else is a walk.
Maybe but Tommy is the favourite (unlike any of Paul's other opponents) and he may have been holding something back against his previous two opponents.
John Fury is an interesting character. He’s supportive of his sons but he also likes the spotlight. He has to let go of the tough guy stuff and his obvious craving for the attention he never got as a failed fighter himself.
