Frankie Warden's Boxnation was much better than DAZN UK in the first 2 years. No smell of Box Office with big fights such as Toe v Dull Boy Chisora on along with some great cards in Europe plus they would pick up some cards from the US in fight week. The Russian cards were excellent on Boxnation. DAZN UK sucks from the off with only 2 decent domestic cards since leaving Sky. Hard to believe people are still forking out £7.99 for this garbage.

I really miss the good old days with the original BoxNation. They also found some tv hosts and experts who not only sat there because they looked good but they knew what they were talking about. I really hope DAZN UK changes some people at the start of the new year. Misses Barry Jones as co-commentator.
The only thing I see changing on DAZN UK in 2022 is the subscription price increasing to at least £9.99
I had BoxNation subscription on my Sky + HD Box and happily paid £ 10 every month because the channel was worth all the money.
By the way : It's super cool that Sky Sports has signed a deal with Top Rank Boxing, but I think it's sad that they just take the US feed and pass it on to viewers in the UK. They could well have a lead commentator (Andy Clarke) + a co-commentator (Barry Jones).
So Probellum are going to be a genuine boxing streaming service and it’s going to be free, or have I just imagined that.
I do not believe it will be free - it is completely unrealistic but there is a huge selection of live boxing coming every week so if you are a boxing fan then this is the place for you.
Help me out here please guys. I don't understand your statements. What's been wrong with DAZN's production? FYI here's my list because it definitely isn't perfect: - Choice of Jama as host is inappropriate (but improved since week 1) - Laura Woods should take that role - Followed the fashion Sky have for "zoomed in" camera angles - I much preferred what we saw in Fury-Wilder III where we could see the footwork better - Bellew is annoying, but is much more toned down in this role - I'd like to see Andy Lee move from the commentary box to a punditry role - I love Costello's work, but I accept that right now he is not a TV natural. Compared to Sky, where my criticisms are: - Ad breaks ruin the flow of undercard fights - Macklin is a dreadful co-commentator - Nelson's a lovely guy but his judgement is dismal, I tune out when he starts talking - Anna Woolhouse is professional but super bland - Same "zoomed in" camera angle for fights - Minutes' silence for Sweet Caroline - DAZN have the decency to speak over it And imho BT is better than both of them. I see it as a score draw between Sky and DAZN at best. Why do you feel differently?
DAZN UK needs to find some people who are passionate about boxing. As a viewer, I want to feel their interest. Sit down and listen to Ian Darke & Glenn McCrory or John Rawling and Barry Jones. 2 amazing commentator couples who really worked. I know it's incredibly hard to find but with all the financial means DAZN has available it can not be such a big problem, can it? BoxNation could figure it out.
Yep, happy to agree with that. They have individuals there who clearly love boxing (Costello, Bellew, Lee) but they don't feel like a unit yet. Part of me feels Costello and Froch would be a good pairing, but am not sure Froch's aloofness would let let him get close to anyone. Is this the main thing you think's wrong with DAZN's production? Sky haven't had this for several years imho, but you said they were in a class of their own.
Agree with most of that, but the problem is Eddie promised 'Game Changed' and we got short changed. It's the same, if not worse than what we already have, but we are being fleeced for more cash month on month.
