As they say styles make fights. Think Joyce be a much harder test than whyte Even a ancient shot povetkin sparked him and no one seems bring up he clearly ducked aj at one point for a lot of money and few belts to then go on and fight ancient past it fighters.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if, when push comes to shove, it is Whyte himself who finds a way not to fight Fury for the world title. Just like he did with AJ.
Mixed feelings. I’m a Joyce fan. I’d like to see him versus all the top heavyweights. But this seems like a recipe for another years inactivity for Fury. Whyte is WBC mandatory. If Top Rank try to sidestep him it ends up with Whyte suing the WBC and Fury being left inactive. Rather see Fury fight again in the spring, whoever it’s against.
Nah he got hit a lot more than that and some were big shots.... not ones you want to be taking too many of. But yeah agree, I want to see him out by March latest as well.
Cheat? How? And regardless of what you say. Joyce's best win is against Takam, who was KO'd by Chisora in more convincing fashion. Joyce has done nothing impressive yet. A close fight with Dubois and was being beat by aging Takam on points before a TKO
Joyce would smash Whyte, having said that I would prefer Fury - Whyte next. I can’t stand hearing this nonsense about Dillian waiting 400 years for his shot - let’s just get it out of the way. It would be an entertaining build up as well.
Honestly don't think there will be much difference between the guys for Fury vs Joyce and Fury vs Whyte. Joyce's 0 also adds in a lot of intrigue.
Dubois is obviously better than Tickling Takam. And I'm not sure why people keep bringing up "was getting beat by Takam" as if it matters. Joyce knew he was going to win and didn't care about losing rounds. He was literally taking clean shots off Tickling Takam for a laugh. It was a hilarious display.
