Pac cuts weight even if its 2 pounds. Im sure Inoue does too. So thats false. Besides pacs natural weight class isnt 147.
Throughout his career, on many occasions, he's conceded to opponents weight demands to make fights, putting himself at a disadvantage in the process. When his team insisted on rehydration clauses, we know it was when he was moving up to a new weight class and it was DLH who pushed for those. Those weren't Canelo's idea, and we know that rehydration clauses are designed to prevent a much bigger fighter from having too much of a functional weight advantage against a smaller opponent, so it's not something that's designed to give a fighter an advantage rather it's designed to do the opposite to make it more fair. So Canelo has never been one to stack the deck against his opponent, and one of the reasons why he ditched DLH was because of how DLH made it seem like he was with certain stipulations. I think it's really wrong that anyone tries to act like Canelo himself has ever tried to gain an advantage, it doesn't fit with his character and the sacrifices he's made throughout his career to make fights by agreeing to opponents weight demands.
Who said that is his natural weight? Does no one know the WBC weight rules? 30 days and 14 days before the fight. WBC weighs you 30 days and 14 days before the fight. For a SMW you have to be under 184.8lb (30 days before the fight) and under 176.4( 14 days before the fight) This was introduced to try and stop fighters cutting huge amounts of weight during fight week. But all it does is force them to cut weight on the 30 day and 14 day weigh ins. At the least Canelo probably weighed himself after a training session, where he is down 5lbs from water loss. At most he cut weight for this like he does before a fight and is 10lbs+ heavier.
This is just the game created by prior day weigh ins. If he were fighting at 175 in November he would be 182 today. Caleb Plant is also a big SMW.
