Looked alright. One to keep an eye on anyway. Hearn already has £££ signs in his eyes after seeing how much of a following he has.

 

Very early days and hard to judge given the level of opponent he's been in with but comes across very well, is a big lump and looks like he carries good pop in his shots.

Can see why he shifts tickets - likeable character.

 

I thought it was interesting his manager saying his contract was up the end of the year, he could get huge exposure if he moves to sky.

 

I am already done with him and it's not his fault.. Hearn "it was like an AJ fight.."

Just F Off with that crap, it was just a bit noisy, the arena was less than half full, actually maybe a quarter full and that's like an AJ fight? GTFO.

Hearn is a very good promoter but he does kill careers with his BS, maybe a better word is popularity, he nearly ruined Conor Benn with over exposure and he had to go away for a while, but he is back to killing his popularity again with outrageous claims and promises.

He was killing Campbell Hatton with over exposure, hype and sticking him 3rd on big events and he has now gone quiet, Hearn will get back to killing his popularity shortly.

He even did the same with Shannon Courtenay, built her up, hyped her up like she was the second coming of Katie Taylor, had her on IFL doing luff pieces with Koogs and doing other stuff and that's all backfired massively.

If Johnny Fisher has any sense he will bin off Hearn and go with Sky,

 

Yes you're right. Yes, his job is to promote, but he goes waaaay over the top with it like we're dumb and have no idea with what we're watching.

 

I doubt it. Fisher seems enamoured with Hearn.

I could be missing a few puddings but don't make them headlines now

 

Hearn can't help himself, also throw in the the fact Fisher is from Romford, Hearn from Brentwood and Barry from Dagenham so it's all one big local love in, Hearn makes fighters his pet projects, the standard "they have bought a few houses.." and that's Hearns thing, he doesn't care about ability, he cares about stories.

 

It's because he knows stories sell (they really do), people love a good back story to stuff.

Like Fisher but the overexposure has begun already IE "Bosh" "he's sold XX amount of tickets", his dad being interviewed regularly for some reason. I'm hoping not to turn against Johnny for this but the Matchroom effect can do that to a man.
