Not for nothing but Edilov vs. Lartey was as blatant a dive as you'll ever see - and this is coming from somebody who usually argues with people calling things dives simply for looking 'slightly off'. This wasn't slightly off. It was clear that Lartey had rehearsed dropping on this specific punch, but he messed up and started too early. I'd recommend throwing it out, for league purposes; treat it like a NC or as though it never took place. It officially will remain a KO1 victory for Edilov, because I'm sure the commission in Chechnya truly DGAF, but.. Clearly, disgracefully fake knockout. (and I don't pick in this league, so no dog in the race; just my two cents)
Watch his dive against Wardley too. It wasn’t that convincing. Especially after he took bombs from Dubois with an insane smile on his face. But then again 3 of Wardley’s last 4 opponents have gone down in suspicious circumstances. So we should know to watch their careers and be suspicious in their future fights.
