I know he was owned by Barrera...but most fighters would have fought on and maybe come back for a rematch. He seems to have comeback a few years ago had 1 or 2 fights lookin lacklustre and then disappeared again...hear the odd rumour of a comeback but nothing as yet comes to fruition. Sad really...but now even if he ever does hes older and fatter and will have too much ring rust to get it all back.

he has 1 fight after barrera and couldn't be arsed, naz was mega rich and you could tell well before the barrera fight his heart wasn't in it.

Prince Naz retired because of a number of factors the main ones I believe are:

#When he was a young innocent lad - he just lived for boxing - it was
his life - his only real focus - as he became a man that died in him and
    other things became more important

#He was 27 and got out with his health ok and before his reflexs
    started to fade

#He got married and had a kid - and wanted to spend more time with his
    family

#He got comfortable with his life

    #Made money

    #Wan World titles

#Wanted out of the public eye

Yeah I here what you are saying. As a matter of fact I remember Steward telling Lampley he did n ot want the prince to fight JMM. He openly ducked JMM.

He definately had the talent...shame really.

Still like Tyson and others have proved through history...once they get filthy rich they lose interest cos they dont have to do it or put themselves through all that pain and punishment...in training as well as in the ring.

hes not a great fighter, simple as that

and the fact that he retired early will always give him that "what if..." category, which is smart that he retired early, or else he would of been schooled by someone else who studied the Barrera fight and it would put the Prince in the "most overrated fighter ever" category.

Naz's dedication was on the wane and a big reason as to why he lost to Barrera.

He just didn't care anymore. As he said he'd been involved in boxing for about 15+ years, he'd had enough and wanted to settle down.

I'm glad he got out when he did, his dedication would have got even worse and he would have stacked up losses.
