He receives too much hate, not enough credit on this board. typical around here I suppose for those fighters who have solid resumes…. Weird to me but typical.
Now he is fairly rated but that’s only because he has just lost and been exposed a second time. The loss to Ruiz changed him for the worse. Although it was more the build up that destroyed him. He clearly had a terrible camp and was smashed up in sparring in preparation for that fight. His confidence was destroyed before he got in the ring.
I think he gets enough credit to be fair, seems to be a mixed bag on the forum of those who overrate/underrate him. I think he's had a very good career, just nit a great one - yet. Still a lot of questions for AJ to answer. Haha, yes he needs to - but Usyk will have a gameplan for this. Counter punch fest coming up methinks.
He used to be overrated generally. Now he's fairly rated. He's one of the best heavyweights around at the moment, clearly. He's a world class fighter. He's very good but not great.
He's fairly rated now that the ko streak is over and he's been defeated by two completely different styles. He's considered a top 5 fighter for this current era (he is), he's no longer considered a juggernaut that can run through anyone, but a world class guy that has limitations
