Plant is probably about to get decimated but i high-key want him to win. Plant might just be my favorite current boxer besides Jaron Ennis. I like how confident he is despite being such a huge underdog and stylistically i love a good slickster, except Saunders. F*CK Saunders. That piece of sh*t. But I'll be backing Plant on fight night. I hope he gives it his all and i hope he can pull it off An upset like Plant beating Canelo would shake up the boxing world. It probably wont happen but I'll be cheering him on 100%. I like Canelo but just dislike diehard Canelo fans (Shadow) and Canelo's corrupt judges.
I was. I was super ready to root hard for him to pull the upset...until about a week ago, I saw a video that actually kind of made me warm up to Canelo just the tiniest bit. It humanized him and made him seem somewhat sympathetic for the first time in I don't even know how long.

I can't stand Canelo. -Canelo should have three more losses -Canelo is a PEDS user -Canelo will always be to me the guy who failed to seize the torch from Floyd -Canelo is being marketed as a star when he is not that good. I cannot help but to think it might have something to do with the fact that has Mexican heritage but looks as uber-white as they come. I hope people are not upset at how blunt I am at this...but ask yourself if they would be marketing any black fighter who was this mediocre. Therefore, I want Plant to win.

I'm all in on Plant. I nearly always support the American unless he's a reall nut case. Plant has skills; he can do it. Plus....this would be a MASSIVE upset. Plant is a +675 underdog, Canelo -1100. Canelo has a 90% chance of winning. PLUS....let's say Plant gets a UD or Split decision win; that would mean Canelo CAN lose a decision, which is also good for boxing. PLUS...all the crying from Canelo fans would probably diminish drought in Madagascar.
Come on I am sure Plant never said this. Furthermore Canelo is hardly white Anglo-Saxon. He is Hispanic Latino who just happens to have red hair. In any event as you know race is not important in boxing. The relevant factor is both boys can fight and have the skills to win. I am going for Plant to win but I cannot lie, I like both lads.
Most people dislike Canelo, but Plant doesn't deserve to be the undisputed super middleweight champion. And he won't be.
