Canelo Alvarez is greater than Tito ever was and atm it’s not even a close comparison

This win is becoming one of the legendary boxing wins of all time

Canelo's achievements over recent years doesn't change the fact that the version Floyd beat had just barely edged Trout and would barely edge Lara later on.

Usyk is better than Canelo. So no.

Nobody compares to Floyd? Well there are at least 25 boxers who have existed on this planet who were superior to him.

    Canelo is clearly great.

But let's be honest, beating Plant, Saunders and Smith is hardly legendary.

Pacquiao-Marquez 4 is the greatest win of the century by any fighter.

    Pacquiao-Bradley
    Pacquiao-Thurman
    Pacquiao-Cotto
    Beterbiev-Gvozdyk
    González-Estrada
    Rigondeaux-Donaire
    Lomachenko-Rigondeaux
    Usyk-Joshua

All are better wins than Mayweather-Canelo.

More or less was saying that its not a dramatic statement or extreme but yes there have been some other amazing wins on that level. It is debatable.

Several you listed are a tier or two below. Your statement is way more ludicrous and fanboy than the original poster. Way more.

How is my statement ludicrous at all?

The scalps I mentioned are all greater than Canelo from 8-9 years ago. Clenelo is in his prime now and able to compete and dominate at 168-175 — difference of 23 pounds from where Floyd beat him. Floyd was able to muscle around and push Canelo back, but none of these 160-168 pounders can.

I think FM could beat this version of Canelo as well. Canelo doesn't work from the jab, loads up on his shots more now than he did before. A fighter needs to set up shots, set traps and cannot telegraph shots if e wants any level of success against Floyd. Just my opinion..

Are you even serious with this question? You really want a 44 year old Mayweather come back to fight Canelo now? This post just shows Floyd’s greatness and damage he inflicted mentally to fighters and their fans. To this day, y’all can’t get past Floyd schooling your favorite boxer/s, and want to see him back when he’s no longer a threat to avenge their L’s.

It was a rhetorical question man. Everybody knows Canelo would whoop Mayweather now.
