Fury is all about making things difficult. I wouldn't pick him to win, but I think he's the sort of guy that'd make it hard for anyone.

You might be thinking of Andy Ruiz.

Butterbean was 334lbs and 5'11, Tyson Fury is 275lbs roughly at 6'9 and is levels and levels and levels above Butterbean in boxing ability, there a 0 similarities, also Fury does have talent and ability to go with the size

It means he has no understanding of boxing if he thinks size and height equals a great jab.
Tyson routinely out jabbed taller longer opponents, so did Qawi. Height and reach
is great to have for a jab, but timing, speed, and anticipation are just as important
    if not more so.
Holmes would consistently out jab Fury because of better technique, timing and speed.
Fury would need to completely change what he does best to have any chance with Holmes.
He would need to fight very physically and aggressive , use his weight ,lean on Holmes push
him around. But Holmes isn't D.Wilder , and would hold up much better than he did.
Holmes was capable of fighting a fast paced fight for 15rds.
Fury struggles to finish a slow paced fight over twelve.
Holmes beats Fury much easier than some here thinks.

Holmes had either-way fights with Norton, Witherspoon, Williams...life-and-death struggles with Shavers and Snipes...a tough fight against Weaver...and lost to LHW Spinks.

I am not suggesting any kind of triangle theory, to say Fury wins because X, Y, or Z, but I find it laughable when people suggest that Holmes was levels above Fury, when he struggled with guys levels below him. This is a good fight, win, lose or draw.

Larry was only ever know to fight one southpaw...and amateur loss. What if Fury fought him southpaw?

I'm just referring to fat, bald, ineffectual fighters, but if the shoe fits.......

He is fat and bald. A disgusting blob.
But a pretty good fighter, tall, multidemensional, tough.

I see all fighters struggling with Fury, never mind Holmes. Fury’s got a very effective style that negates, to a degree, his opponent. This is not to say he is unbeatable, but Fury is very effective at what he does, using the style he has. His record speaks for itself.

Holmes would have been weirded out by Fury's size and relative awkwardness. Fury would definitely win a couple of the early rounds (Larry would need time to find the range for the jab on such a big dude).

By the fifth round Larry's overhand right would be starting to land. Fury would be a bumbling, stumbling Jethro Bodean in 10, stopped before the 12th.

To be fair, Fury had either-way fights with Wilder.

Butterbean is short and heavy handed with zero stamina. Not seeing where you get this comparison from.

While Ruiz has definitely KO'd a buffet or ten in his time, he's an order of magnitude better than Butterbean.
