Yeah, chin very upright and posture stiff if Paul tires Tommy out and gets this to the latter stages TF will be wide open for counters even against a novice like Paul.
I keep changing my mind on this fight. Realistically Tommy should be able to win JP looked terrible against Woodley who could've finished him if he just threw more punches. If Tommy trains hard is in good shape he can win this fight just throwing straight punches basic one two and he could eventually overwhelm JP in the later rounds.
Jake paul is actually the naturally bigger man, not a roided T top. He's also done better sparring work than Tommy for the past 2years? sparring world class ex champs who are his own size. Tommy has sparred top class guys but only move around workout spars Tommy has to win this fight by proving he is cut from a different cloth..its that simple. He has more spite in his punches and his workrate is pretty good, he has an eye for it also. he has to lay it on Jake and see if he cracks. The feet will slow quickly for Jake if he is put under smart pressure. if you discount the fighting mentality of the Furys you're ill informed. thats half the fight here. Tommy could of beem a decent pro boxer if he dedicated himself and avoided the roids after his short ams career, but when you can earn a living easier ways you do that. Think he got abit disillusioned bieng aroind BIG men anx wanting to be a heavyweight which hes not.
Yep good point. They do good sparring both the Paul brothers have sparred with Jean Pascal for instance. As much of a clown BJ Flores can be at times he seems to run a good set up for Jake Paul in Puerto Rico and he is clearly training hard under the radar.
I don’t think any of this is actually bad for Fury. If he loses then he saves a lot time, everyone will know boxing isn’t for him and he can carry on being an Instagram person or whatever. It’ll be a close fight for me, I think Fury might crumble a bit under all the pressure but that’s just my opinion - maybe he’ll prove us all wrong ? We’ll find out.
With it being an 8 rounder I could see a draw happening. Fury could outbox him 6 rounds to 2 and get robbed on the cards. Everyone goes home a winner and they do it again next year for an even bigger seven figure sum each.
He’s definitely had a few, I saw him box as an amateur before but he wasn’t very good and didn’t box much.
Jake is bigger and has the funds to train full time but that doesn't compensate for the fact that he's not a good boxer and had never boxed in his life until he fought that anus gib fella who I imagine most of this forum could beat in a boxing match. Tommy might not be Tyson but he's still a step or two ahead of Jake
Tommy Fury is going to batter him. When he does some of you will be left scratching your heads wondering why you thought that bellend Paul would win. There both cut from a different cloth. Fighting is in Fury's blood. Jake Paul is the bigger man no doubt but in this case it really will be, the bigger they are the harder they fall. I'm actually looking forward to this.
