1972 Bob Foster vs 2021 Saul Canelo Alvarez at 175 lbs, 15 rounds. This would be the Bob Foster who obliterated WBA champion Vicente Rondon in two rounds in 1972, going up against Alvarez.

For me Foster is a top 3 all time lhvy,I don't consider Alvarez a lhvy ,these recent matchups are therefore unrealistic imo.

Foster tracks him down and executes him...knocks him out cold in 5 or 6.

Just gonna point out that Foster never actually beat anyone as good as Canelo.

Foster never fought the competition of Canelo, but Foster was very well a top 5 LHW. Clean Foster win.

Foster would be a terrible style match up for Canelo. Foster eventually finds his mark on Canelo and possibly stops him.

Canelo would struggle with 15 rounds

Another fantasy match up where I favour the modern day fighter. A lot has changed in nearly forty years as far as the training, conditioning etc etc. Canelo is a match for any fighter of any era. Canelo wins.
