Uh, Vince, Witherspoon didn't look all that great last night against limited comp. I gave his opponent several of the early rounds, in fact. Chazz is still green, so he's got time - but he's got a lot of work to do before he's ready for even lower level world class fighters. His seeming lack of power is a bit of a problem, too.

Vince quit looking for the Great American Hope, if a top American heavy comes along he will, if not he won't. Chazz, right now, would get beaten badly by Povetkin.

No way, hes not even looking like the Bowe that lost to Lewis at the Olympics... He need to work on many things, like using his body against smaller men, which he didnt do last night. He also needs to get a killer instinct, he looked awfully passive last night. Also was it me, or was Chazz throwing alot of weak jabs, which nothing coming behind dem jabs, no combos, no nothing. He really looked like he didnt wanna be there. I dunno, he needs more work., no rush for this guy.

Chazz Witherspoon is the next Dominic Guinn. Both guys have about the same motivation and killer instinct in the ring.

Chazz said in a recent interview that he is still learning, and with no hurry. He says that he'll ready for the top level in 3 years approx.

The guy needs work. In time, who knows. I definitely wouldn't jump the gun after last night's performance though

Chazz does not look nearly as good as Guinn did when Guinn first started...Chazz has a good jab and that's about it, he needs some work...

Chazz had a good, quick jab that he was able to use often. He seemed to know his spacing quite well and how to control the ring, and his defense wasn't too bad either. Other than that, he has some major steps to take care of before he'll ever be in a title fight. His combos looked very sloppy, but even more concerning, he just didn't seem to have the fire and "it" factor you want to see. Those are intangibles that can't be taught in training.
