I recently started watching Nunn. His complex southpaw style is quite interesting and overall he had a good resume and lots of talent, with a badass nickname.

    How would he fare against

He has a chance against Hearns,,not a good one mind you but a sleight chance probably a 5-1 underdog.. Against Bob Foster? As Sal Marchiano used to say," Good night sweet Prince" his chance of winning is,,None.

If we’re talking about Bob Foster then I wouldn’t favor Nunn. Hearns and Nunn might be a good fight

Hearns and Nunn would have been very technical. Not much landing of Hearns right hand, but Hearns and Nunn feeling each other out with Hearns maybe getting some right hands in but not clean. I figure the threat of the right if Hearns holds back and saves his energy wins him a SD.. A very close technical fight. Nunn would do better at 160... A good fight. Foster? At 175 Foster would stop Nunn.

He has a decent chance against Hearns. I wouldn't favour him, but but I think there's a chance he could pull it off. Against Foster he's knocked out brutally and early.

He might edge Tommy at middle. Foster? Gets the coldcock.

I think Hearns would out-jab him as would Foster, Nunn beat a fighter with the reach of Hearns and Foster, the fight with Tommy would probably be like Tommy`s fight with Hill, both Hearns and Foster would put Nunn into a defensive shell with their jabs threatening to set up power shots, specifically Tommy`s 1-2.

Hearns at his prime would be too much for Michael.
However when they were trying to make Hearns vs Nunn Tommy would have lost and possibly gotten stopped.
I was a Hearns fan and I didn't want that fight made at that time.
And Nunn would have beaten MCcallum up too.

I’d have loved to have seen McCallum vs Nunn.

A big call to say that Nunn would have beaten him up.

    I can’t see that.

You can't see it because MCcallum has become a tad overrated as years gone by.
Graham gave MCcallum everything he could handle and while I love Graham he wasn't close to a prime Nunn in terms of speed or power.
Kalambay gave MCcallum problems because of his style and speed.
Now imagine a fighter faster a southpaw and standing at 6'1. And he could pop when he wanted too.
Mike was calling everybody out EXCEPT Nunn and there was a reason for that.
Nobody wanted to fight him when he was coming up.
They had immense problems getting people to face him.
He tailored his style slightly to attract viewers and be more entertaining.
You should check him out pre title - I'm telling you people simply couldn't hit him at times.

No I feel McCallum was better than Nunn and would have handled Starling and Barkely far better.

Except when he knocked out Kalambay in a round right? Same Kalambay that beat Mike was it not?

Don't care. But I'm curious as to why Mike never called out Nunn? He called everybody else out.
Barkley was around for Mike to fight but they never did.
    Middleweight Nunn schools Mike.
