I've already ^^^ completely destroyed this thread and the thread starter in biblical fashion with my skills. This thread is officially deader than the super- middleweight division. Shut this poop down already the best case scenario for Haye is he lasts the distance but chances are Usyk shatters that shaky mandible of his Bellew style in the second half of the fight.
Let's see if a poll conducted afresh today would have the same sorts of idiots voting for Haye by KO again.
Haye would try to fight cute in the early rounds, dropping his hands and trying to psyche out Usyk, while Usyk would be steadily figuring him out. Then around rounds four or five Usyk would start hitting Haye with shots Haye has no idea he was being set up for, at which point Haye starts panicking throwing wilder shots in an attempt to turn the tide, at which point Usyk hangs back some more then patiently picks him off. By rounds six or seven Haye's in full on panic mode, gassing out, and taking a massive shellacking from an Usyk that's upped his workrate yet another tier, before taking a big shot down the pipe that drops him on his ass. Haye groggily gets up before getting smashed to the canvas again, at which point the ref waves it off. Thought this three years ago, still think this today. Some fights are very easy to figure out.
Yeah he gets outboxed and taken out. Usyk's too skillful, too good a boxer, too fit, too tough and just too good.
At the time of this thread I'd have gone Haye. But it's pretty clear to me that Usyk is one of the very best HW sized fighters in history. His win over AJ was immense.
Usyk has surpassed Haye in almost every metric, and climbing... Haye was unified cruiserweight champ, Usyk was undisputed. Haye was a heavyweight beltholder, Uysk is unified. Haye has respectable list of cruiserweight wins over Gurov, Fragomeni, Mormeck and Maccarenelli, Uysk has a stellar list over Mchunu, Hunter, Huck, Glowacki, Breidis, Gassiev and Bellew. Haye has a respectable list over heavyweight wins over Valuev, Ruiz, Chisora and Barret. Usyk has only Chisora and Joshua, but Joshua is pretty much better than Haye's entire list. Haye has four losses, Usyk has none. Usyk has been stopped or down against Thompson, Mormeck and BellewX2, with an uncredited knockdown against Barret. Usyk has never even been in danger of a knockdown. Usyk gets extra points for being the road warrior. You can give Haye power if you want. He had a great right. Haye had a good, laudable career, and Usyk is one of the best ever.
