Is this one of those threads that's going to be bumped in three years so that everyone can take a good laugh at the alt-threadstarter?

In which case greetings from 2021. Hope you're all well.

It's definitely possible. I'm starting to think ''Sugar Hill'' is going to get Fury KO'd sooner or later, though, blowing smoke up his whatnot pretending he's indestructible and a ko specialist. It wouldn't surprise me to see Usyk walk fatso ''Kronk Fury'' onto some big ones and then who knows. And it definitely wouldn't surprise me to see Joshua land bombs on this Fury.

If the new ''power Fury'', who got ''taught how to punch by Sugar'', needed 7, then 11 rounds to finish WIlder, how is he going to just demolish Usyk, who has a better chin and endurance than Wilder and is far more elusive? And Joshua's chin wouldn't be that much different to Wilder either. So we have to ask ourselves, how many big shots could Usyk and Joshua land on the come forward aggressive Fury in 7 or 11 rounds? I'd say quite a bit of return fire is coming his way and Joshua can definitely finish him.

I think Fury should go back to a more responsible style, back to his counter punching and then add some power punching to that when the opportunity arises, rather than toss the style out. If this ''new'' Fury was just wiping Wilder out quickly and going home, you could make an argument for changing tactics. But that's not what happened.

If/when Fury fights Usyk,Fury will show everybody how a good big man beats a good smaller man. Usyk is very good but Joshua’s lack of a game plan and gun shy fighting spirit played right into Usyk,s hands, mistakes that Fury will not. Fury will use every bit of his size and weight advantage and ring presence/savvy every round to get the win over Usyk .

Nah. Usyk is too good. I pick Fury to beat him but it'll be close and competitive.

Fury rolled out of bed after a 3 week camp that involved a couple of jogs whilst training with two elbows that were falling off and having overly hard sparring.

He got in there, walked at Wilder in a manner that was extremely careless and crude yet still did a job on him whilst again taking a rocket off his dome.

Fury is mentally a beast. He knew he wasn't at his best yet knew he didn't need it.

Usyk will stop Fury that we saw in the 3rd Wilder fight.

clearly Fury of that physique and mentality isn't turning up against Usyk. He was happy to let Wilder burn the candle early. Usyk can't hurt Fury the way he can hurt AJ.

A hurt Fury is extremely dangerous.

According to Fury himself, You are only as good as your last fight. So I'm speaking by that logic. Usyk>Fury by their last fights.

True but their last fights are worlds apart from each other. They don't correlate at all. Fury would never pit himself against Usyk in that form. Relying on raw will and physicality is too risky against a pure boxer.

He's going to have a good rest then an easy fight back into it against Whyte. Get his slick boxing working again.

He wants to go to war with Whyte then it's worrisome. It's a fight that he really should look past and understand what could follow. He will beat Whyte in whichever way he wants but there is no need to make it a hard fight.

No. Fury cannot simply maul Uysk, if he does that he gets slicked to bits.

Fury is 6'8" maximum. Slightly taller than Wilder, same height as David Price.

For that to happen, Fury needs to step up and fight champions. Fury fought nobody at Usyk's level (Klitschko was too old and Fury ducked him once and the second time he was positive for peds). Fury is extremely skilled but let us see him fight good boxers first.

If these two ever meet, Usyk will be in his late 30s. Speed and stamina are the first things to fade with age. Those are Usyk's main assets.
Fury will postpone this fight as long as he can to age Usyk as much as possible. We have seen fighters do this before.

Nothing against Usyk, but I would favor Fury as well.

I would bet money on Fury V Usyk going the distance. I'm struggling to imagine either man getting KO'd.

Fury by UD though I reckon. He's got all the tools to outpoint him.
