    What a dreadful decision mate.

Thought Harper was there for the taking against a hungry opponent but never dreamed Kiko could roll back the years and KO Skid.

Harper moved like a Bus Stop when she got hit and very lucky Terry Spud O'Connor was not the ref as he would have either let it go on until she was decked or move so slow she would have been flattened.

It also confirms beyond doubt the huge decline in Warrington after his fights with Selby and Frampton.

Josh should retire before he ends up badly hurt.

Yep I clocked Dom Ingle just turning away in anger/disgust when Barry got KOd. He's got some bloody cheek doing that.

Nevertheless glad Kid got battered. Karma for being a bit of a sht human being.

Embarrassing KO for Barry and a bit of a bad night for Eddie. But they should try and look on the bright side, at least no one was watching.

The matchmaker works for Matchroom not the fighter. A fight that “nobody wanted to see” has now stole the headlines and got everyone talking about it. The B side is also an in house fighter and they’ve landed themselves the same fight but with a much bigger audience and appeal in the rematch. Unless it was a big unification then Galahad’s next fight wouldn’t have done so well as this rematch. The matchmaker should be on a bonus.

I didn't see the fight as i was working but saw the RBR this morning. I'll leave watching the replay until a few days time when it's my birthday. Watching Barry being sparked out will be a wonderful birthday present.

    War Kiko !!!!

That's pure hindsight. This event was an easy homecoming first defence against someone skimming the top 15 and let's not pretend otherwise.

The matchmaker is there to keep careers moving whilst enabling the promoter's commercial interest. Galahad is an unpopular fighter even in his home town (view the crowd last night compared to other hometown cards) and this was to give him some credibility and theatre.

Failed miserably and I hope Martinez is afforded the same luxury of headlining a DAZN Spain card before the inevitable rematch nonsense happens, and that he benefits from better matchmaking to ensure he gets that far.

It’s not hindsight, it’s after the matter. Has the matchmaker done a bad job for DAZN? No. They as a promotional company still hold the title, they also now have a bigger fight than what these 2 would’ve fought our next combined.

A bad job would be losing the title to a no mark under a different banner.

Honestly Lyson has to be up there with the best referee's in the UK if not the best. Read it very well and bravely tried to protect Harper who was out on her feet.

Sounds to me like Galahad and Eddie hatched a plan to get Kod in order to sell more in a rematch

    Cunning pair

Dont feel the matchmaker was involved at all. No bonus for him

I've been working most of the weekend and only got to see the last 2 fights on DAZN here a short time ago and it was very surprising, but to be completely honest I dont think Eddie Hearn care if Kid Galahad wins or loses because he does not sell any tickets / generate the big money. Hats off to Kiko !
