I'm gutted I didn't stick a few quid on Kiko. Fair play to him though, was a great fight (probably one of the most entertaining Kid Galahad has been in) and was a lovely knockout punch. If Galahad goes straight for the rematch I'm putting money on Kiko knocking him out again.

He deserves it, especially after getting shafted last time he was over here. On a side note I think Barry deserves some praise. There’s a lot to not like about him but you can’t knock him as a fighting man. When was the last time someone won a title and defended it 14 weeks later, yes even if it was supposed to be a straight forward easy defence! I wish more fighters would be more active. That’s why Canelo is head and shoulders above everyone at the minute.
When Barry won the title it was getting on to 2 years since anyone had even boxed for it. There's a long list of fighters who didn't want to fight for it last night.
Yeah, the likes of Jordan Gill was offered it and didn’t fancy it. As I said you can mock him for getting Knocked Out but at least he’s willing to get in there and fight.
Definitely big congratulations to Kiko. I didn’t think for a second he would win. It’s boxing though and that’s one of the exciting moments that shocks fans and keeps our sport flourishing. Kiko deserves all the accolades and hopefully a rematch can be done.
