Vitaly vs Fury probably would be a career ending fight for both.

Well, one quit against a feather fisted cream puff and was put thru a absolute meat grinder by a washed up old Lewis who had one and a half feet out the door...............he absolutely failed the pass of the torch test, fact.

The other is undefeated, never quit and never will and will box circles against the arm puncher VK who only has a one two and is stiff as a board...................the ONLY skilled fighter of ANY quality with comparable height he met carved him up like a Thanksgiving dinner.

BTW, Fury will end the Usyk hype train too, guaranteed.

    I'll take Fury on intangibles.

    1) Vitklit found a way to lose his two biggest fights...Fury always wins.

    2) Vitklit never faced anyone as big as Fury, but Fury faced Wilder, who is 6'7.5" or so.

Two very good fighters, but I just see Vitaly getting a cut, or something.

Fury don't hit as hard as Lewis. I don't think he would give a serious cut to Vitali. Vitali lost to Byrd because of shoulder injury. This is another impossible thing to repeat.

Vitali was ahead in both fight.

Vitali is a big stiff idiot.

No superheavys can compete with Fury. Nevermind a rioded 2000 era one.

    Fury dominates the late fight

He blew his shoulder swinging and missing at Byrd, and it indeed was repeatable. Anyone can cut anyone. Vitali also had injuries to his knees and back, none of which caused a loss, but any of which could of.

    I stand by my post.

We are talking about hypothetical fights. You can eliminate injuries which can cause to stoppage.

Anyway, prime Vitali vs prime Fury is 50/50 in my opinion. Vitali was awkward and tough.

It's no myth. The only reason Wlad had such a long reign is because his brother refused to beat him up for money in front of millions of people.

you're being somewhat unfair to Vitali about the Lewis fight. Vitali was winning on the cards before the stoppage due to a cut from a questionably legal punch by Lewis. also, Lewis had big power. if anything, I think his power is underrated because he preferred to box. Fury does not have Lewis's power.

all this said, I cannot see Vitali beating Fury. Fury seems to be able to dig deep and always find a way to come out on top. I do agree with you he's going to end the Usyk hype train.

And his brother was also picking off challengers who might have given him a hard time.

I think it's very possible Vitali would even win 5 out of 5 against Fury, because he had a huge punchoutput advantage (the man hardly lost rounds in his entire career because of that), and you can't brawl with him unless you have a murderous punch, which Fury doesn't have.

This man couldn't beat Tyson Fury if his life depended on it.
