I think Boxrec just go by the official announcement when the winner is declared in the ring. In the Galahad fight, the announcer says TKO, for Canelo - Khan the announcer says KO. Why the announcers come to 2 different conclusions i don't know. Could just be a simple case of they don't know the rules
I will pay more attention next time to the different options.....i was always of the impression that betting on a KO means a stoppage victory either by KO, TKO etc. Unless u get better odds for being more specific....but thats sore u lost out on that
Not sure what Boxrec goes by but the rules seem to vary commission to commission. California seems to be pretty pedantic about it, Nevada maybe less so? This is just my general sense.
i think it just separates the ones who are given the opportunity to continue, and fail to do so. from those denied the opportunity for safety reasons. even if the ref stops it cause your head is in the 3rd row.
