Oh what a match up of sluggers and chins. I'm going with Joe Joyce due to his engine, Height advantage (Slight)
That would be an interesting fight for sure. Considering Joyce is not the hardest fighter to hit clean I'm sure Foreman would land big frequently. Both come forward fighters too. I'm leaning towards Foreman but it's not a given.
Big George is in trouble here imo. He’ll gas after the much bigger man soaks up the shots that felled much smaller men
Foreman crushes the big oaf. Foreman is actually the faster fighter here. Joyce is too slow, one-dimensional & hittable to beat Big George. Foreman struggled with slick, fast, technical boxers, not come-forward, limited pressure fighters like Joyce.
Joyce beats the poor man's Joyce (70's Foreman) easily. 2 inches taller, 40-odd lbs heavier, better skills, better chin, vastly better gas tank, more experienced, mentally stronger, speed and power similar. A complete mismatch. Joyce would make Foreman work much harder than ultra-featherfist cruiser Jimmy Young, Foreman gasses out in the mid rounds and Joyce stops him.
Interesting fight difficult to judge mainly beacuase Joyce hasn't had many pro fights at top level. Joyce has a good engine and a solid chin but does get hit a lot. Both men are slow so that cancels out some attributes. I can't see it going to 12. I think Joyce has a good chance against the younger George who could gas. Although Joyce has a good chin has he ever been hit by anyone as strong as George? Even though they both throw like there in slow motion they both hit very hard even if it's a scuffing shot. The heart says Geroge the head says Joyce. It's a pickem fight for me.
