Canelo barely got past GGG. What makes you think he will beat a more skilled fighter weighing 60 lbs more?
Usyk would send him to the Shadowrealm.

well first of all that 60lb diff wont be 60 cuz canelo wont fight usyk as a heavyweight but at CW. So his power is gonna be like the power he had vs briedis who Usyk didnt seem to hurt.

I also dont believe the skill of Usyk is miles ahead of GGG. GGG doesnt use fancy footwork and is slick, but he has to be up there when it comes to cutting off the ring and punch placement. Different skills. Usyk wont be hitting Canelo with as much power punches as GGG did. So itll be with the Jab. A totally different fight because of the different styles.

There are a lot of hypotheitcals here. Usyk hurt AJ with Usyk weighing at 230. canelo wont be fighting a 230lb usyk. Prolly more 195-200 like when he fought briedis. And in that fight, Usyk lacked that pop to hurt Briedis.

And with the plant fight. He didnt struggle to hurt plant. Canelo was methodical and made adjustments a little later. It wasnt that he struggled hurting Plant. The fight ended that way simply cuz he did hurt plant.

Canelo ain't Breidis .. & Plant ain't Usyk.. & lacked pop? Who's ever really hurt or KOd Breidis anyway? What does that prove? Whether Usyk KO'd Canelo or not he'd still completely out muscle & box his arse off.. Canelo wouldn't see the final bell in this fight imo anyway..
Usyk comes in at about 208 fight night (@ CW).. he's a 6'3 fleetfooted southpaw with a much bigger reach too.. you would have to be insane to pick Canelo to win here.. he needed two gift decisions to beat an old MW Golovkin & struggled with the boxing skill of the non-entity that is Caleb plant.. he'd also be even slower at CW too… He would be a sitting duck for Usyk.. Canelo is good but he's fairly flat footed & his natural instinct is to just move forward and cut the ring off… Fighters like that are tailor-made for Usyk especially small ones.. this is actually getting ridiculous.. clear mismatch.. there is zero chance Canelo stops Usyk (if Joshua , Chisora, Breidis Gassiev etc cant) and zero chance he outboxes him… There is no argument for either.. it's hugely disrespectful to think that juiced up little ginger midget could just jump up and beat the greatest of all time cruiserweight because he knocked out Saunders and plant  ..

Usyk is far better than GGG was, his feet are constantsly moving, no way Canelo gets inside and he doesn`t punch hard enough to push Usyk back.

Canelo did struggle to hurt Plant, he had to put everything into that last shot after landing a number of zero effect hooks on Plant, there`s no way Canelo hits as hard as Gassiev.

Canelo is a heavy puncher with a formidable physique that enable him to fight against boxer of certain level above his natural class. However, there is limit where his power can hurt and make impact. And Usyk is quite a distance beyond that line.

I think your a little confused let me clarify you are using a false equivalency. I had to school someone on this yesterday not sure why this is a problem for an adult to grasp.

False equivalence is a logical fallacy in which an equivalence is drawn between two subjects based on flawed or false reasoning. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency. Colloquially, a false equivalence is often called "comparing apples and oranges."

So what has Breidis a natural top tier cruiser got to do with whether Canelo can take Usyks power?

Taking into account that Usyk (although at heavy still a valid gauge of power) rocked and nearly clocked AJ who is what 240 lbs.

Secondly I agree that Usyk and GGG have slightly different skills sets however Usyk is the more skilled. Considering that Canelo had to rob GGG with the judges twice and GGG is a natural middleweight I cannot see a more skilled natural cruiser having any issue with Ginger.

How do you know Usyk won't be hitting Canelo with power punches and are you saying a 160 pounder is hitting a lot harder than a 200 pounder? If you are you do need to understand basic physics and why they're weight divisions in the first place.

Also don't even attemp to mention Makabu otherwise I will bend you over.. The man who was starched in 3 by Bellew.

I hope I have cleared that up for you. If you would like me to break it down further or you think I missed something please feel free to get back to me and I will help you become more knowledgeable.

Briedis has never been hurt, let alone dropped or stopped

    Same goes for Gassiev

I guess Dorticos lacks pop too?

I guess the Klitschko brothers lack pop because they couldn't hurt Briedis in the gym which according to James Ali Bashir is very rare for anyone who has sparred over 30 rounds with Wlad

Bruh,as a big Canelo fight this matchup is won easily by Usyk, his technicality is times better than Canelo and he has size advantage,in my eyes the only thing Canelo can do is win couple of rounds but nothing more than that..

First of all your entire statement is filled with hypocricy. You call me out for using a fallacy yet open with one as well, your lil ad hominem dig.

Second, I compared the styles of usyk and GGG. The latter has a tendency to load up on his punches while the HW champ was more of a jab in and out boxer. I didnt say that usyk has less power than GGG. How do i know Uysk wont be hitting Canelo with power punches, you asked? Well its not his style. Watch his film and youll realize that that isnt how he fights. So you bringing up basic physics and weight divisions is beyond the point. Styles make fights. You used the said fallacy and jumped into the conclusion that i was comparing the power of a 160lber and a 200lber. Thats not to mention that physics would actually allow some smaller fighters to be bigger punchers than other bigger fighters, but you seem to neglect that fact. "Skilled" is quite a vague term, and the different styles of fighters mean that they will have a different set of skills. Usyk may have more skills than GGG but he may not have the right skills to trouble Canelo like GGG did, and vice versa. You seem to miss that point.

"Secondly I agree that Usyk and GGG have slightly different skills sets however Usyk is the more skilled. Considering that Canelo had to rob GGG with the judges twice and GGG is a natural middleweight I cannot see a more skilled natural cruiser having any issue with Ginger."

This is one of your quotes. You start by bringing up Usyk is more skilled then mentions the robbery, then concludes that there is no way Canelo can win. Isnt this the very fallacy that you suggested Ive used? An apple to orange you said. A 160lb stalker vs a 200lb boxer puncher. Without going into detail on how exactly that can transpire, how can you deduce that a more skilled boxer who operates differently can do just as well as a skilled stalker who uses a different skill set? The answer is you cant. You compared 2 different skills yet came up with the same conclusion, false equivalency. Hypocricy.

Third, if anyone is using a false comparison its you, by bringing up the AJ fight. Why bring up the 240lb usyk when thats not what Canelo will face? Its irrelevant to say the least. Contrast this with the Briedis fight, a more plausible weight where Canelo and he will meet. Following your physics argument. Is it absurd to think that at 200, his natural weight, where he had little power but by putting on weight and muscle he gained power? Watch the fights and youll notice that at CW, Usyk did not have the pop. That is a fact.

Then theres you bringing up Makabu. With usyk you seem to reject the notion that a bigger man can take the power or have the power to beat a smaller man, despite him having a lower knockout percentage to Makabu. And since Bellew has knocked out Makabu, its then just a cake walk or he has less power or a worse chin? Again, isnt that the very false equivalency that you seem to suggest? Youve rested your entire opinion on makabu based on one fight.
