Lots and lots of boxers met as pros in 2 different countries. But once we go beyond 2, it gets more difficult to find examples.

So how high do you guys think, it's possible to go?

This is gonna be hard ...because most of the big fights happen in America

Yep... so the bar is now set at 3!

    Anyone wants to go higher?

Definitely not easy. I found 2 fighters at 3 apiece but nothing higher. The ones I found were:

Eddie Perkins fought Angel Robinson Garcia in the US, Italy and France.

Max Schmeling fought Paulino Uzcudun in the US, Germany and Spain.

Great thread! Unfortunately, I keep bumping up against two countries, and it seems like there’s lots of those.

Sweeny and Cripps seemed to have fought eachother in England, Wales and Belgium. Definitely some better answers here, though. I'm thinking Europe and South America have to have had battles all across them.

Carlos Ortiz and Ismael Laguna fought each other in Panama, the US and Puerto Rico. Can't get beyond three.

There are some Northern African fighters (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco...) and European boxers (France, Italy, Spain) with a lot of bouts who fought in many different countries. For instance, Young Perez from Tunisia fought against the Spanish fighter Baltasar Sangchili 4times in: Spain, Algeria, Morocco and France.

    Excellent - that's 4 different countries.

Still, we can go even higher!

This question has now been up for more than a full day - so maybe it's time to put it to sleep.

    So here's a hint:
We're looking for 2 boxers who shared 5 different countries. One of them has already been mentioned in this thread!

With this piece of information, it shouldn't be too difficult to find our two guys.
