    I remember reading about him. He won the title by thumbing Mugabi in the eye. Couldn't do it now with today's glove design.

    He was fortunate to win a title, he landed a punch or part of a thumb depending on who you listen to that fractured Mugabi's eye socket, without that I doubt he'd have won. He rode that one shot as far as he could.

    He was lucky against the Beast for sure , but he was a very decent fighter in his prime !

    I disagree he was lucky against Mugabi. I think Thomas gets a little underrated he was a good fighter.
