If Mayweather vs Pacquiao happened in 2010 instead of 2015 what would have been the result?

I always felt Pac would beat Floyd prime for prime and I'm not changing my mind now.

Pac UD if it happened then. Anyone remember the article that came out then, suggesting May might let PAc age out or lose a step first. Then the exact thing happened.

Pacquaio would have success early on but Floyd would figure him out. There's levels to this

Would have been a better fight. Mayweather KO'ing Pacquiao with a counter right hand would not have been far-fetched.

 

Sadly we will never really know how this fight would have been in 2010. Pac looked like a monster against Cotto and Mayweather easily schooled the man who gave Pac fits in 2 fights. Hard to say but we would have definitely see a much better performance from both guys. 5 years really is overdue.

 

Still a UD for Mayweather.

 

Think Pacquiao was afraid of needles for Olympics style drugs testing or some other BS.

 

Floyd brought up JMM from LW, didn't even meet the required weight of 144. Don't know how fair a comparison that is. Would Floyd have still beat JMM? Probably. But they did not fight under any type of fair circumstances.

 

Floyd would have solved the Pac riddle on the way to UD.

The truth. Mayweather would UD pacman any day of his life, because of a simple reason, mayweather is the better fighter. Simple as that. Still pacman ATG, I'm not denying that.
