Bother these guys are the potential future of 147.

Who gets a shot at a title first and against who?

Ortiz is ranked #1 contender by WBO and WBC.
Boots is ranked #3 by WBC and IBF

i think they are both ready fora title shot, but ortiz gets it first. i think he has more backing in the industry, because of his potential drawing power. if boots can get a fight with thurman or one of the garcias, it would really raise his profile and earn him some clout.
i see an amazing welter division in the near future. will be the premier division for a decade. the amount of talent in, and soon to be in, is unlike any other division. just loaded with potential stars.

Ortiz is closer, but Ennis is just a step or so behind him. Both are pretty close to being ready for title shots. Problem is Crawford and Spence are pretty dramatic step ups from the guys they have been facing.

Vergil Ortiz will stop him late. It will look like a more destructive version of Broner vs Maidana.

It was a bit concerning how Dulorme landed a huge flush shot on Ennis even though he took it and stopped the weak chinned Dulorme. A good win nonetheless.

I think both are very hungry but Ortiz's style i think will prove it's worth more as he steps up in competition.

When Ennis steps up his flashy style will eventually be his undoing unless he tightens up his defense more.

Both could probably aquire a belt in the next year. However once they do, it should be game on. No hiding from tough challenges because they lack experience.
