The guy needs to take his 20-25% get knocked out again and sail into the sunset 20-25% of a fight with Fury is more than he will get fighting 3 none PPV fights on DAZN.
He has complained for years about his shot he now has yet another chance and is again pricing himself out........

Whyte is just trying to get the most money he can. He has always been about the money so fair play to him. Hopefully it works out.

WBC interim champs get 45% split when fighting the champion as per their rules

I know but no way is Fury going to fight Whyte and give away 45%, he will vacate before that at the end of the day the belt means nothing to Fury. I can see Whyte fighting for a vacant belt at this rate against a nobody.

    I hope the complete opposite

I hope it totally backfires and doesn't get the shot and then takes another fight in which he gets KO.

You can't scream can man, anyone, anytime etc and constantly complain how you don't get a title shot. Then when one comes about you price yourself out. He did it with AJ too

If you (or anyone else) were in Furys shoes right now can you honestly say you'd entertain giving a man ko'd a year ago that's never held a world title 45%. absolute lunacy, Fury will almost certainly go in another direction just because he can , listening to Eddie still spouting off have me hoping he does.

I’m torn on this one, I’d like Fury to box Whyte because it’ll be a good win for his resume, and shut up those who say Fury hasn’t boxed any contenders etc. If Fury beats Usyk & Joshua he goes down as better than Lewis anyway.

They also have a clause that says they have the discretion to change it, depending on the circumstances. Whyte is not going to get 45% from Fury & they will never allow it to go to purse bids.

If Dillian wants the fight, he should tell Eddie to stop talking to the media. He then needs to negotiate the best deal he can for himself with Fury’s Team. The fight will easily generate enough money for Dillian to get well paid, without chasing after a percentage which he won’t get and lose him/us a good fight.

I think he's definitely in the argument against Lewis if he beats Usyk.
Considering Lewis was beaten by mediocre fighters McCall and Rahman.

Didn't know about the change at discretion clause, but I agree with all of this. no way will he get 45% if anything fury will get made franchise champ and he will end up fighting someone for the vacant. Joe Joyce would be a nice little earner for him but cant see Eddie/Frank allowing it.

No, he won't do that, because with three belts held by one other guy, that belt and the chance to crown an undisputed champ will help to make an already huge fight into perhaps the biggest grossing boxing event of all time.

It's ridiculous to attack Whyte for attempting to maximise his position, it's the same thing anyone would do in that position. He has paid the fees for his own meaningless strap on the understanding that the mickey mouse outfit that issues it will follow the rules they set out when they produced it.

He won't take 20% because he doesn't have to, and nor should he.

Ther truth is, Hearn and Whyte are probably hoping Fury will vacate.
Probably working towards getting the WBC to sanction a 3rd Povetkin fight for the vacant title.

Because he’s a sh!thouse. About the 6th chance of a world title shot he’s wangled his way out of.
