What Terence Crawford said to his corner moments before stopping Shawn Porter

I’ve watched this fight a couple times and I’m more impressed with Crawford than I was when it happened. It’s hard to look good against Porter, he’s athletic, awkward and strong. Crawford lost rounds but was never in trouble. He’s a very good champion and I see him beating Spence in a close fight. It’s close enough to 50-50 to make it interesting. I’ll pay to watch that one.

 

Frustrated he had nothing left

 

Doesnt matter whether you think shawn quit or not. Crawford took his will in 8 & 9 and wore him down. Thats that.

 

Ofcourse they discussed what shawn had left after 9. He was hit with some tremendous shots in 8 & 9 which sapped his strength and energy. Porter fans and crawford haters are wild.

 

I've stated in several threads that Crawford was getting on top in the fight. I just don't believe Porter was looking for an out.
I think he was frustrated and angry at himself for getting knocked down again and vented by punching the ground.

 

I wonder if he would have went for the stoppage if he wasn't told he was down on the cards.

He is clealy saying something to someone. It could be "I'm ok", though. But it's weird, not very common to see that. Or maybe it's me that I dont usually pay attention to that.

 

I guess they wanted to pump Crawford up, which worked.
