And I gave Loma only 3 rounds at most! I was shcoked because for some reason I assumed Teo only won the first 6 and the last round but watching again he 100% schooled loma and won the first 8 rounds. I only gave loma 9 and 10. 11th was debatebale, infact Teo was winning until Lomas headbutt 12th round was pure dominatation and he hurt and could had knocked Loma out if he had more time. If they fought again he will knockout Loma.
I've already debunked this load of trash before.. Loma outlanded Lopez with the cleaner shots in rounds 2 and 6 (Crawford and Ward gave Loma these rounds for a reason). Following a guy around and not landing does not automatically give you the round. That's not "effective aggression". Even in the rounds most scored for Lopez 1, 3, 4, and 5, Lopez was following Loma around and he only really outlanded Loma by about 2-3 jabs or right hands to the body in these rounds as Loma was doing f all. And they weren't full on force connects as Loma was on the move for the first half. So Lopez basically doing nothing (slightly more than what Loma was doing) for rounds 1, 3, 4, 5 then getting his head pingponged around for a period of the second half is schooling Loma? Not giving rounds 8 and 11 to Loma in this fight tells me one thing - that you most certainly have a visual disability of some sort. You give Loma rounds 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 then he wins 115-113, which is what I had and that is more than fair.
Loma fought the wrong fight with the wrong mentality. It's that simple. It was like watching Fury Wlad all over again with two midgets, although not quite as dominant when Lopez faded and couldn't use his feet anymore. He assumed Lopez would fade heavily which to be fair he did right at the end. He assumed Lopez would take the bait early and unload but no he stuck to his jab and didn't give anything to Loma Loma went in fearful of getting caught by Lopez so whilst Lopez edged round after round he didn't have any mentality to switch it up quickly or press harder instead just waited him out. By round 6 Loma's eggs were all in the "he will fade and get stopped basket" Kambosis will be pressing Lopez from round 1 tonight i'd expect...and you'll see why that's risky against Lopez.
did the same yesterday, or day before. came out with the same conclusion. loma never found the answer to anything. teo denied loma angles by keeping him too far to slip under and around him. gave him time to pivot with lomas advances. he would greet loma with a punch any time loma moved forward, which kept loma feinting and circling waiting for a clean approach. he basically forced loma to remain at a certain distance, where loma cant slip his flashy blind shots at him, then made him pay any time he tried to close. his footwork was also key, it allowed him to slip around the ring just as fast as loma exploded towards him. i was surprised at lomas lack of solutions.
Well said. I doubt they will ever fight again as Teo is moving up to 140 after tonight ‘s figh5bwi5h Kambossos.
I agree with the first part, I thought Teo won 9 rounds as well. I don't at all agree that Teo will KO Loma in a rematch.
So, you gave every close round to Loma? That makes you as bad as the judges you are critisizing. And if I use Compubox numbers to justify a Teofemo win, you will discredit Compubox, right? LOL Taken straight out of the fanboy playback. Speaking of which, Compubox had Teo outlanding LomaChrist, in all but 2 rounds, the 8th round was even on connects, but Teo landed more power shots, so, Teo should be given that round too. 10-2, 118-110, AND STILL UNDEFEATED!!!!!!!
No, I gave rounds 2 and 6 to Loma because he objectively outlanded Lopez with the cleaner shots.. If you're arguing otherwise you're simply lying. And why are you bringing compubox? It has no relevance because it's inaccurate garbage. As they prove to everyone time and time again Teo should have lost to Nakatani who he got a gift against
And of course your way of counting punches is better? I did not see Loma outlanding Lopez in hardly any of the first 6 rounds. Way too inactive. 12th Loma almost got put down, staggered and hurt for most of that round. I just saw a fight were the #1 fighter was outworkered for half the fight, and almost got stopped at the end. Winner Lopez.
And the same people would lose their **** if they saw anyone saying Joshua beat Usyk. Despite Loma and Joshua both lost with a similar margin.
