It was NOT a close fight. Kambosos won easily, despite the judges cards. I had it 8-4 George. Some close rounds but even if you give all of the close ones to Teo, George still wins by a lot. How could judges not give George a 10-8 round in the first? Clear KD for GK and should have been a 10-8. I watched the fight again and even rewatched the presser and post fight. Seeing Teo almost crying and making a fool out of himself made it even sweeter. His drunken dad was icing on the cake. Two most delusional unlikeable guys in the sport. Good riddance! I hope George makes him beg for a rematch before turning him down. Weight bully and total scumbag got his ass kicked in his own backyard. Does it get any better than this?
I had Kambosos up 7-2 in rounds going into the 10th. In total rounds, 8-4. To be fair, there were 2 or 3 rounds that were close, and if you were favoring Lopez's aggression coming forward, you could give one or 2 of them to Lopez. Worst case scenario would have been a draw.
This is ridiculous! Teo lost the fight. What the hell is wrong with people? People too proud to admit they got it wrong? I picked Teo to win by KO. Guess what, my pick was wrong. I congratulated the guys that picked Kambosos and moved on. You know what? I still woke up this morning feeling great. Same thing goes for these Loma fanboys. Teo and Loma both lost. Get over it guys!
The only thing Teofimo Lopez was robbed of was whatever dignity he had left. And he robbed himself of that by making the excuse that he'd been weight drained at 135 for the last three years, as though someone held a loaded gun to his head and was constantly forcing him to make 135.
You're biased, I'm not. You don't watch fights through an objective lens. Going into both Loma and Kambosos fights, I picked Loma to win and Lopez to beat Kambosos. I got them wrong. I scored it the way I saw it in real time. You go back watch the fight in slow motion, counting every single tap, not realizing pro judging is also based on ring generalship. Lopez threw more punches, pressed the fight, while Loma kept his hands holstered. Can't give it to Loma.
