reminds me of the user that has a photo of canelo as a princess and claims every other fight is a robbery. he probably had Lopez winning 10-2

majority of people had it 8-4 or 7-5 for GK

Even with Broner's "dullardness", he had a genuine willingness to step in the ring with anyone. Hell Broner is the only person that I've ever seen that constantly called out Matthysse (sad this fight never happened)

I was rooting for Teo and thought he would win, but this is just sad.

Dude was out boxed, and even out slugged at times. Accept it, learn, move on. Again, this is probably coming from his corner (especially his dad). How can you learn and humble yourself when your dad tells you what you want, not need to hear?

    absolutely pathetic by Teo.

George is on the map now.

I had it dead even going into the 11th round, GK showed he wanted it more in both rounds 11 and 12. The 12th round was especially lopsided for GK.

George beat his balls off. Lopez couldn't accept the reality that he was a beaten man. For too long yes men and his deranged father filled his ear with the lies that he invincable. Those lies were crushed by a determined Kambosos and that reality has left Lopez dazed and confused.

Sitting on his ass in the first round from a Kambosos overhand right you could see the shock on Lopezs face. With each passing round the despair grew until a slight respite buoyed his hopes in the 10th. Sadly he could not capitilize as Kambosos only grew stronger, which furthered his mental disequilibrium. After the fight in rabid desperation he cried foul to deaf ears and boos from those who also once believed the hype. He left the ring unwlling to face the truth.

Sorry, I can't see how you had it even going into the 11th. Going into the 10th, I had it 87-83, 6 rounds to 3 GK. Going into the 11th, 95-93 GK. GK won the 11th & 12th. My final score 115-111.

It was a close fight that he believes he won and is bitter about it. Truely shocking behavior from a fighter

The reported celebratory backflip afterward killed me.

I'm not saying this to dog pile on him but seriously I think Lopez is mentally wreaked. His personal life is falling apart. Just went from top of the division to near laughing stock. Looks like he spent all his future earnings and about to get taken to cleaner with divorce. He so delusional he thinks he will fight Taylor in 2022. Like he makes the call and not Taylor.

I don’t see Lopez coming back from this. He doesn’t have the intelligence or humility to go back to the drawing board and make improvements. He also seems the type to blow through his money in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t be surprised if within a few years from now he’s out of boxing and living on the streets.

I had GK comfortbale after the 10th, and thats after a 10-8 10th and a 10-9 9th for Teo. But i can understand it being close after the 10th, since teo rallied in the late mid rounds. But GK did not leave it to chance in the 11th and 12th and closed it out completely. A true champ imo.

    I just read the article.

I admit that I don't like Lopez, but can't help to pity him for his personal life. Not surprising to hear that his wife leaving him. It must be hell to stay with the family, like a timebomb. His father is a really terrible person.

That part shocked me to the core. I couldn't believe what he just said. You really see the mind of a delusional grandeur. This kid head is a mess and his dad is responsible. Their head is gotten big lost touch of reality. The worst case on live TV. It only touches the surface of what the kid and his dad think of themselves.

Wilder and Broner went the excuse route so he should know its a dead end street.

Lopez can bounce back if he can park his ego.

He's probably really kicking himself for not giving Lomachenko another shot. Had he lost to Loma now, Loma would've given him a 3rd fight.

He's ice skating up hill on very thin ice. He's young and has a chance to come back. Less chit chat, more hit pad.

I have a rule to ignore pretty much anything any fighters says just after a fight. Very few people can think or speak rationally after being involved in a 12 round fight. I realise that in this particular case, he won't reflect on the fight and be humble, but I should afford him that chance in any case.
