I love Tennis alot(prefer boxing) but still,I follow Tennis for the past 25 years and im with you(lordlosh) when you say that:Federer,Nadal,Djockovic would beat them all and easy btw. They learn throughout the years how to end a point very quickly now, even on slower courts. You don't have to follow Tennis(PistolPat) very closesly to know that old players praising theses Legend and say back in there time they would get easily beaten by them like 6-1 6-1 or something like that!If someone want to talk Tennis,im open but it will derail the thread...

You can call It anything you like...escort..guide... but it is illegal. The fighter has to make it back on his own power. You saw the footage and state that he was "guided" back....that's illegal.

Smelling salts were not only banned in the 70s. We argued this in another thread and the exact language was produced. They were not explicitly banned in the 60's, but there was catch-all language that made them illegal. There was language about what a fighter was permitted, and smelling salts is not on the list.

Angelo Dundee admitted to making the tear to buy him more time. I heard it with my own ears.

Telling the truth is not diminishing a fighter, and I brought all of this up in response. Usyk never went life and death with a anybody, much less a fringe contender, so let's not pretend that saying that he could beat Ali is some kind of off the charts sin. It would are a great fight between two great fighters.

    Excellent.

Frazier would also be a great fight. Again, I think Usyk would be right there with those guys, in that great heavyweight mix.

All hes done at heavyweight so far is beat AJ. To even make comparisons between ali and usyk is asinine. Were not even sure he can beat all the current heavyweights. Youguys are going overboard with this stuff already. You look foolish. Give it some time at least.

Ali started under the cruiser limit. Frazier started under cruiser limit. The guy who knocked Ali nearly unconscious, Henry Copper, fought his entire career under the cruiser limit.

The guy Usyk beat was a 6'6" two-time unified champ.

You are asinine, and you look foolish because these things have been pointed out already, and you refuse to learn.

Your points make no sense. I've learned that you sir, are not smart.

I dont have the time to list the heights and accomplishments of the various heavyweights Ali fought in his career.

I swear, Usyk beats one decent heavyweight and hes the greatest to you simpletons. God knows if he beats Whyte or some other fighter of that caliber you will claim him as your husband.

I hope Usyk does great things for the remainder of his career and shows greatness. But damn will it be funny if he loses his next fight.

My points--plural-- make all the sense in the world and are easy for even a dullard like you to understand-- Ali was knocked silly by a "cruiserweight," beaten by a cruiserweight, would have been one himself, and Usyk has demonstrated that he can beat extremely high-quality super heavyweights.

We know of Ali's highs, which we have talked about already, but my point is that he had some corresponding lows that make it ridiculous to say that Usyk would not have been competative, when far lesser men were.

Even you can understand all of this if you try.

Your use of the world "dullard" tells me all i have to know about you. Usyk beat your favorite fighter and countryman and you have no choice but to submit your behind to him. Ridiculous that you think AJ is an " extremely high quality heavyweight" but it makes sense given the circumstances.

Pity Usyk hasn't faced a literally shot fighter who wouldn't pass a medical test so that he could style on him.

    Did Frazier or Norton apologize?
It is a breath of fresh air compared to the Nth Ali worshipping thread.
"Prime" Ali fought a bunch of average to small cruiserweights and blown up lightheavies.

I could say the same. Look at Usyk's opponents. Which ones boxed like a prime Ali? Chazz Witherspoon? Chisora? Gassiev? Hell no. Joshua certainly doesn't.

I mean, give me a break.

    Well you are one, so...

What in the **** are you talking about? Usyk is my favorite fighter and I am American...so who in the hell are your talking about, Mike Hunter?"

Please keep your closet homosexuality to yourself. This is not the appropriate place.

He is a two-time unified champ who was demonstrably the best heavy in the world before Fury came back. The fact that you do not know this makes you a...well...dullard.

    Have you seen Chazz Witherspoon?

Usyk never fought anyone like Ali. Who has Usyk ever had to cut off the ring against who constantly circled the ring on his toes throwing left hooks and straight rights that could drop you? Ever?

Ali struggled early against the only mediocre southpaw he ever faced, and Usyk is the best southpaw heavy ever.
