Oh man, does this seriously have to happen every time he gets brought up?

The point was made that Loma was the only top guy fighting bigger guys than himself, which isn't entirely true.

I guess you guys don't consider Canelo a top fighter?

Guy gets tested more than any other fighter in the game, and we all know there is no way to 100% prove he has bought judges, and "fixed" fights. If you don't enjoy watching him fight, don't watch him.

I do enjoy him, he's entertaining... I think we all watch boxing to be entertained at the end of the day.

I like Loma and Usyk and GGG aswell... I don't find the need to hate on a fighter to like another, I definitely enjoyed watching Lopez lose to Rambo Kambo, and as much as his post fight comments were cringe he's a human being that risked his life to entertain us.

The best resume is Loma's. I think Teo has the best win by beating him but it's hard to say. We'll have to see what Lopez does next to really understand whag Kamboses just accomplished.

A lot of guys are fighting above their natural weight class. Loma, Canelo, and Usyk are different because they fight good competition at those weights.

Couldn't agree more with the message about hating. I've come to learn it's another form of entertaining but when someone does it continuously with no humor it's tiresome.

And I just can't be sure of anything regarding PEDs. Canelo thought he could beat GGG, barely escapes with a draw, and that's when the dirty urine comes and he's been an unstoppable monster since then.

Look at Loma. He was noticeably declining for a couple fights, then comes the Lopez loss. After that he has shoulder surgery and all of a sudden he's his old self plus more power than before?

Plenty of times we've seen that story. Guys get a little older, injuries pile up, the rivals get stronger, so they reach for PEDs.

Maybe they all do it, maybe it's rare. I don't know, but I do wish the boxing authorities would do more because the thought of a clean athlete in with a steroid user is scary.

I said Loma is the only one in the P4P top 10 who is routinely facing opponents who hold these kind of huge physical advantages over them and this many KO artists and legit bangers who are very big punchers for 135

Yes Clenelo is a toad and is often giving away significant amounts of height but he's built like a freaking tank and was cutting huge amounts of weight down at 154-160 and at worst is a natural SMW now who is very physically strong and powerful for the weight and unlike Loma but many of these other multiple weight champions he obviously jacked himself full of PEDs to help him bridge the gap.

For example he was coming in as high as 172 and reputedly even 174 down at 154 and 155 respectively 7-8 years ago

''On fight night, FOX's Heidi Androl reported that Alvarez weighed 177.4 pounds, with Lara coming in at 169.8 pounds''

And obviously he bulked up noticeably when he moved up to MW to face GGG, especially for the second fight after going on his 'meat diet' and would've had a significant weight advantage over career MW GGG whose average fight night weight has been a very consistent 170 throughout his career in both their fights and who has a slightly shorter reach than Clenelo

Even up at 175 against Kovalev he would've weighed about the same as Kovalev at the very least and was only giving away 2½'' in reach

    Clenelo at 168 and above

    Clenelo 70½'' reach

    Smith 78″
    Fielding 75''
    Plant 74″
    JCC Jr. 73''
    Kovalev 72½''
    BJS 2.0 71″
    Yildirim 70''

Clenelo weighs about the same as most of them if not more and would only have been giving away weight to one or possibly two of them

Prime Kovalev was a massive puncher but that shell of him Clen fought threw pity pats all night and his once vaunted power and punch resistance have diminished greatly (only dropped one opponent in his previous six fights due to power (the Yarde KO was purely due to exhaustion and attrition) and that opponent is chinny.

BJS 2.0, Yildirim, Plant, JCC Jr. and Fielding range from light-average at best punchers up at the world level. Smith and Kovalev are the only genuine punchers and as I've explained Kovalev was neither the force or puncher of his prime years.

    Loma at 135

    Loma 65.5'' reach

    Commey 71'' reach
    Nakatani 71'' reach
    Campbell 71'' reach
    Pedraza 70.5'' reach
    Linares 69'' reach
    Crolla 67'' reach

Loma is routinely giving away a lot/huge amount of weight and giving away 7-15lbs for a natural leprechaun division fighter is different to a 168-175 pounder doing so.

Lopez, Commey, Nakatani, Campbell, Pedraza, Linares are all way bigger and longer and heavier than him and, as said, most are big-savage punchers at 135. Clenelo is a natural 168 pounder, Loma is a natural 126 and unlike Clen didn't jack himself with PEDs to help him bridge the gap and isn't weakening these way bigger much harder punching giants with catchweights, rehydration clauses and short camps and he doesn't have the safety net in place of only having to make it ton the final bell to get his hand raised. If he loses a fight it's not magically waved into a win because he has the judges in his pocket.

Loma only beat GRJ on a MD despite the fight not being remotely close at all and Loma beating the crap out of him all night. One judge only gave him one round against Lopez even though the fight was very close in most people's eyes and he clearly won way more than that. And one of the judges even gave Nakatani two rounds against him despite the fight being a one-sided massacre.

Please don't respond to my posts anymore you get it wrong almost everytime, acting like you've scored some big gotcha when it's usually some dumb false equivalence or you responding to something I either haven't said nor implied or acting like I haven't said something which I have and explained thoroughly before. I usually just ignore it because I don't want to be rude but it's incredibly tedious.

Nah man, you keep going on about Loma fighting above his weight, which is true. Perhaps I came at you wrong or have it wrong like you mentioned. If Loma wants to challenge himself at a higher weight, then it to be expected that he will have some issues. In fact, I said a while ago that the only thing that would most likely trouble Loma is his climb in weight. Personally, I think injury is a bigger problem than weight.
