Teofimo's "shoulder roll" thing

Another case of “Mayweather” syndrome where people mindlessly imitate Mayweather’s shoulder roll but has little to no effectiveness in their style at all. Just ask Broner.

So what Feotimo can do it too , just on the face though.

 

The one good thing I'll say about Teofimo's shoulder roll is that it was better than Berto's shoulder roll in the Guerrero fight.

One thing a lot of fighters seemingly forget to do with the shoulder roll is move their feet and upper body to reduce the available scoring area to hit to zero. Just a little L step or a small pivot with the backfoot makes all the difference in how effective a guard it is.
