Joshua's eye socket was fine. People were trying to explain his dejected demeanor in the corner. At times Chisora ate punches and kept coming forwards when a bigger puncher, say Briedis, would have made him back off easily.
He almost stopped Chisora in one of the rounds in the end. He hurt him big, big time. And that was 20% Usyk, as much as i hate to describe it like that. He had hard COVID, and needed to cancel his camp 2 time at the middle of it, and on top of that he had a hand injury, which he undergo surgery. This is his own word, and Usyk ain't talk b.c. So i fully believe him. This is the answer to a journalist who asked him if he was holding back against Chisora. This interview is after he beat AJ. It was on Ukrainian. His promoter also said that this match made AJ mind to fight Usyk, obviously thinking he is past his prime, and it's not a threat for him. Joshua was on the front row in that fight. Also don't forget Usyk was inactive for the longest period in his career. And as i have said for quite some, he is also past his prime. Not the same fighter, but still that good to beat anyone. I hope he can sustain that level, and maybe even UP it a bit, cause some factors was holding him back, like inactivity and not yet fully fit for the new division. Even with that obvious decline, he can have 2-3 more matches before retire, and in best scenario UNIFY the division and retire. To be fair i had more worries with AJ 2, because Hearn will stack everything in AJ favor, and i don't exclude some b.c. British stoppage or completely robbery if the fight goes on the scorecards, than Fury. Fury to me looks washed by quite a bit, and the reason for that is constantly being out of shape and playing with his weight up and down, which obviously going to cost him. His speed and explosiveness is gone, and i don't buy the b.c. injury, bad camp excuse. Fury just can't boxing like he used to, like in Klitschko match for example. Not that i believe any of the style he had will help him against Usyk.
100% People don't want to see that his style don't rely on power, it's combination of pressure, movements, shots from different angles and tiring opponents. Usyks corner told him not to go for KO after 3rd round. he is always doing what his corner tolds him to do. Flaws of Usyk ? He was not born in US/UK. that is his flaws based on how people still treat him.
Yeah Usyk is paying very close attention to his staff, and who is in his corner. He wasn't happy with his preparation against Bredis, he describe it as one of the worst, and he fired his coach at that time. He recently have said that he is happy that he sorted his team/staff. Joshua should learn from that, cause he doesn't need a single YES man in his corner. Saying all that i respect AJ, as he is super hard working guy, and always show in shape. Tho i don't like Hearn in many occasion ,especially with his rematches b.c. and his forcing contracts. Usyk - AJ rematch is ridiculous. It was a ***** mandatory. And what is really strange, there is a zero info, how much money Usyk took from the first fight, as well what will be the split for the second. If anyone have any info, will be thankful to share it.
Usyk has mentor, AJ has not. Coach is one thing, but father like figure is something else. One of his team members said that even before the fight he called Papachenko and ask for advice, after that he was very calm, because he got instructions on how to start a fight mentally.
Earlier on his pro career he still arm punched occasionally but rectified the problem. Age might be a flaw, don't know how long he'll be around.
Chisora respects no one's power, even the guys that knocked him out. Every boxer has multiple flaws.............Usyk is no different. Here's two: He can be crowded on the inside and roughed up by maulers that are nowhere near as good as he is and shouldn't be able to touch him Appears somewhat vulnerable to the body. These flaws aren't significant (he's still undefeated), in fact it kinda shows how elite he is as a boxer/puncher because every elite boxer/puncher are vulnerable in this manner.
I think his biggest flaw is that he isn't promoted correctly. He's a highly skilled, disciplined boxer with a unique personality. I don't buy that he can't be promoted in the U.S, if GGG can then so can Usyk who is obviously more skilled and more accomplished. Usyk's problem is that he has been overshadowed by the bigger guys in Fury and Joshua. He has already beaten Joshua but I feel with the right promotion he can become a house hold name in Europe and North America with a fight with Fury or a rematch with Joshua.

He's does things religiously and takes risks these have gloves won't travel we won't dare sign on the dotted line unless we have everything our way supposed 'greats' categorically refused to do even once and wouldn't dream of doing in a million years because they knew that their success hinged upon having a deck so stacked in their favour they were essentially rolling with loaded dice
As most here have said Usyk doesn't have any glaring flaws but instead has a few minor flaws he has worked his entire career to overcome. Flaws like his lack of heavyweight power are countered by incredible footwork that allows his punches to land unaware on his opponents at improved angles.
