His dad I reckon. What a fighter Naz was on the way up. A one off and boy could he punch. Awesome fighter, the likes of which we wont see for a while.

Bomber Graham and Ali. Then begrudgingly Eubank.

It was funny how he and Brendan Ingle got exposed for lying about copying Eubanks ring entrance. That clip of him as kid in the crowd with his mouth open in awe of Eubank :lol: (seems to have been deleted from youtube conveniently)

I loved when Eubank call Naz out over it on an episode of Ringside.

Naz said it was Brendan who told him to lie about Eubank supposedly taking his vault over the rope and strut. Sadly for Brendan god rest his soul there are now internet videos of Eubank in the mid-80s doing all that back in America :wanker (also vids of Naz falling over trying the Eubank leap in an early fight!)

I think it was at the 93 PBA awards in the July that Eubank told Naz that if he could be his manager he’d take him to fight in Vegas with him (at the time Eubank was about to fly to NYC to sign a four-fight deal with Don King).

Brendan could stay as his trainer. It was more Mickey Duff that Eubank wanted to get one over on (Duff had Naz then) he just didn’t consider Brendan :eusa_doh:

Naz didn’t give Eubank ‘the two V rods’ he really appreciated it (and was excited), until Brendan got in his head that Eubank was satan and evil. By the time Brendan and Naz fell apart, Eubank and Naz were mates again.

Others might say Eubank knew he might lose to one of the top Americans out there, and wanted to secure his income once his career had stalled (being Naz’s manager! Eubank knew how good Naz was).

Nothing evil or sinister about it though.
