Could Leonard have stood a chance at 140 or would he have beaten Pryor at 135? Could Gans have beaten Pryor at either weight?

Leonard was beating the welter champ Jack Britton when he deliberately fouled out.which became the plot for Hemingway's,"Fifty Grand".

Pryor knocks them out both easily. There's a huge difference in skill level between fighters of that era and modern fighters.

Aaron Pryor hardly shows off the highest order of skills.

Do you really think that Pryor was more skilled than Leonard?

Pryor`s combos were amazing, a master pressure fighter with good head movement a very hard style to work out.

off the top of my head
Barney Ross, Packey McFarland, Jose Napoles, Pernell Whitaker, Manny Pac, Mayweather, Duran( Pryor passed on it), ODLH, JCC
I would bet Pryor comes out with a losing record

Based on film, Pryor kills both of them.Based on reality who knows cos anyone who actually saw Gans and Leonard box must be long dead or older than Jesus.
