Yeah he'll start a heavy favourite but if he manages to get Wach out of there in destructive fashion or blows him out early it'll be impressive even against this version of him.
If Mak beats Wach before 4 its really impressive. Because Wach just has an Iron Chin not matter how much slower and stationary he gets. That mans head is a concrete block. hes never been dropped?. Wach has the best HW Chin for a decade.
Possibly ever. I'm rooting for Wach to at least remain vertical. Hard to think of a HW who's eaten more clean shots than him without going down. Guys like Chuvalo and McCall had much better defense.
As for now if Mak vs Joyce would happen, i take Joyce for the win...by KO! but in 2-3 fight i'll take Mak...he need experience at higher level of opposition, like someone who can evade his rush or can take his power or neutralize it.I prefer Mak as a boxer btw
I'd say Rudenko is also in with a shot there. He's also never been dropped, though he hasn't been in with anywhere near the punchers Wach has. Wach is like a chin version of Arnie from Twins. He sucked all the chin genes from the general pool of Polish HWs and all the rest have sub-par chins as a result, with Szpilka as the Danny DeVito.
I think this fight has execution wrote all over it, but it is the kind of fight Makhmudov needs at this point. I'm just wanting to see Arslanbek in the ring to see if he's improved in any aspects at this point or is he simply a powerful puncher with basic flaws.
Rudenko still does have an incredible iron chin, though. I was amazed by his chin two separate times.
Mak will stop Wach and anyone for that matter who 1 ) can't avoid his punches and 2 ) has limited ability to fire back. Essentially 95% of the division. His chin is good, not great.
So going back to our previous discussion you don’t think it’s hypocritical saying this version of Wach isnt shopworn? But Povetkin was shopworn for Whyte yeah? Just feel its double standards depending on the narrative and who is fighting. Where is the consistency.
