    Haney is athletically talented and has some physical gifts at lightweight with his frame and reach.

    But he is almost Khanesque in the fact behind that natural ability the overall skillset hasn't been developed fully. Lack of ring IQ sees him get himself into some tight spots and he doesn't have the chin or power to get himself out of them.

    Seems like a nice enough kid though.

    Too much of one, which I don't like. I wish he actually seemed like he gave a ****, then maybe he'd actually try to win. He's got more than a touch of the old Mikeyitis. This is the second time he's frozen when facing a top fighter, only to sell out and close strong. Maybe try that a bit earlier next time, like 6 rounds earlier.

    Devin shows what we already knew. Great jab, but lacking everywhere else (especially power). Work still to be done.

    Kambosos can put Teo down, so he can certainly hurt Devin. And in Australia it's very risky.

    Yeah, agreed, the humility is a lot easier to swallow if solid honest effort has been given for the full 12x3, which I don't think Díaz can look himself in the mirror and say he gave tonight.

    Haney boxed well but a considerable number of his punches were blocked by Diaz. He also seemed to get buzzed a couple of times. Diaz just didn't apply emough pressure throughout. When he did he did well. Haney gets beaten by someone with more power than Diaz showed.
    After last week, this fight seemed rather boring.

    Yeah, I find that oh so convenient shifting scoring criteria chameleonic tendency depending on their fighter preference quite despicable. Sorry, 4 jabs to the gloves don't negate one clean body shot.
