They won't put it on in Australia in a stadium where they can fit 80K.

Probs a venue like Bankwest Stadium in Sydney or Marvel Stadium in Melbourne. I like about 30K and 50k capacity respectively.
Kostya Tszyu at the peak of his popularity could only manage about 30K at Marvel (when I think it was known as Eithad)..it looked a bit thinned out then.
Though there is a big Greek population in Melbourne and Victorians generally turn up to things.

Horn-Pac was nearly 50000 from memory but that had an ATG superstar to help sell it.

Easily the worst of the "top lightweights." Easily.

To me Haney seems to be trying too hard to hurt with his punches and he's choking them a bit.
If Haney wants to get ko's I think he needs to find a way of throwing more than 400 punches per fight.

I know that. But I think George is just playing mind games with them Mericans. Get em thinking the hostile 80k fans coming to the fight.

JoJo too small at 135 and too limited. His right hand isn't effective enough which makes his left hand way too predictable. Still, he gave up a lot of size here so I guess that's to be expected.

Agreed. He'd have more success through punch accumulation than trying to land a heavy shot here and there.

yeah he wasn’t landing a lot ey. Like, I think he probably just about got the nod if I absolutely HAD to pick a winner but it was a vey close fight for me. A draw was what I initially thought though, was shocked to se people had it so wide for Haney.

Garcia has just about every advantage over Haney. Speed, Power, punches arsenal, and timing.

He's talented and has got nice skills but at the risk of sounding old fashioned I need to see fighters beating prime world class opponents and world champions their own size or bigger to convince me they're the truth, let alone anoint them the best in the division or future ATG greats.

And if you are beating up on leprechauns and fighters you're much naturally bigger than you should really be getting them out of there. But Haney isn't even wobbling chinny fighters who are way past their sell by date he's way bigger than too (Gamboa and Linares).

And you also have to pass the chin test against world class punchers your own size too.

Maybe before, but as of now i dont see it. The mental game is the biggest advantage any fighter can have, and thats where hes the weakest. I think Haney beats him right now.

You're right. Garcia right now loses to even JoJo. But the Garcia who beat Cool Hands beats Haney.

Imo Haney has bad defense, and no power. A ready Garcia walks right through him.

Yeah i agree. Haney's defense isnt good, and hes there to be hit. A fully ready and prepared Garcia can possibly beat Haney, but hes got to get a couple of tuneups and get back that confindence, cause as of now Garcia isnt ready.

Didn't get to watch it on time, what happened? Did Haney hug it out this time too?

Garcia imo isn't a factor in the LW division right now. If you want to be a top fighter you need to eat, breathe, and sleep boxing. Garcia has lost his will. I hope he gets it back soon.
