Usyks Chin

Absolute iron. I've never seen him more than annoyed by a punch, although Joshua had him greatly annoyed.

Briedis, Gassiev, Bellew and Huck are all bangers, too.

Don't forget, he had a semi-pro career as well and has already bested Joyce in a pro style fight.

 

He has a great chin. It is at least a 9 out of 10. I would like to see him against a few more heavyweight bangers before deciding how good it is for certain, but it is excellent from everything i have seen.

 

Very good. He can get buzzed but his recovery powers are top notch and he never stands still long enough for anyone to capitalise on their fleeting moments of success. I'd rank it as the most dependable chin in the division for those reasons. There are others who may physically take a better shot (Parker, Joyce, Ruiz) but they're either more hittable or get mentally affected by hard shots that negatively affect their game.

 

I need to see someone actually hit it with bad intentions to judge properly. We will see when he fights someone that intends to bully him and not box.

 

Chisora did that. So did Nistor and Medzhidov.

 

Ohh, snap I forgot my main man Delboy fought Usyk. Must be solid then. Chisora always comes to fight. My favorite HW of this era.

 

Credit where it's due Usyk chin is solid especially with him stepping up in divisions. Total rounded fighter proper nails

 

He’s very durable. It’s one of his best assets that he’s brought up from CW. He also has a good poker face as well to not show when he’s buzzed. It was in either the 10th or 11th round of the Chisora fight where Chisora landed a huge right hand off the ropes nobody remembers because Uysk had zero reaction to it.

 

Usyk's chin is top tier. He's fought alot of heavy hitters and never staggered.

 

He doesn't get hit too often but, yeah, he's fought a lot of big hitters so it's pretty solid.

 

Surprisingly delboy is the only one I've seen wobble him. Then Usyk showed AG how to fight on the inside

 

More or less unassailable. Put it this way, opponents should never go in with a game plan of knocking him out. I don't care if they are 7' and 300lbs of muscle.

 

Yes and no AG tried to box outside and after ten rounds knew he had to land something so finally engaged. Best bet would probably be cut off the ring and limit his space but obviously that is much easier said than that mate
