For me, it has to be the 90's as it was a period so deep of talented big men.

    Lennox
    Holyfield
    Tyson
    Bowe
    Moorer
    Foreman
    McCall
    Bruno
    Mercer
Larry Holmes was still dishing out a beating or two
    Ibeabuchi
    Golota
    Ruddock
    Morrison
    Tua
    Hide
Vitali & Wlad were just entering the scene too....

Either 70s or 90s is the answer, nothing else can compete.

In pure heavyweights 90s is a strong answer but my classic old ass always loved a good Quarry/Norton fight, I'm going with 70s.

Idk I always hate this question. 90s and 70s were strong but they tend to be over rated a bit (think nostalgia comes to play). They were good but kind of top heavy. I like 70s 50s 90s and 30s. They were all either deep and or competitive. Gun to head I’ll say 70s…hard to argue with the top ten
    Ali
    Foreman
    Frazier
    Holmes
    Patterson
    Quarry
    Norton
    Young
    Lyle
    Ellis

It's a matter of debate, for myself, it was the late 1950's and the 1960's. You had Sonny Liston, Cleveland Williams, Floyd Patterson, Ingemar Johansson, Eddie Machen, Ernie Terrell, Zora Folley, George Chuvalo, Oscar Bonavena, Thad Spencer, Jerry Quarry, Karl Mildenberger, Henry Cooper, Muhammad Ali, and the emergence of Joe Frazier and George Foreman.

70s, but I couldn't argue with anyone who picked the 90s.

That an ancient Foreman won a title in the 90's tells me the 70's was greater. Can anyone imagine a 45 year old man winning the heavyweight title in the 1970's?

There's two for me and both great eras.
70 sand 90 s. But every generation and decade brings along its own set of characters, great champs, contenders, blowouts, journey men etc.

I think 2015 to 2023 will go down as a great era talent wise though many of the top guys didn't face each other. You had.

    Deontay Wilder
    Tyson Fury
    Dillian Whyte
    Arslanbek Makhmudov
    Joseph Parker
    Frank Sanchez

    Anthony Joshua

The 'Bum of the Month' was an excellent era in it's own right. Max Baer, Farr, Nova, Godoy, Schmeling, Two-Ton, all below the exeptional Joe Louis

Today you have Fury, Usyk and Wilder.

Which one of those men wouldn't own house in prior eras?
