Agree. Fury in the second Wilder fight is the best Fury ever. He outbrawled Wilder badly and crushed him on the ropes.

feel like his wins over wilder are getting a bit overrated now, still to see evidence that wilder is even that great 2 wins over old man ortiz dont really say much

Weird. People were calling Fury a modern Tokyo Douglas after he retired having only beaten Wladimir.

Thank you about how Fury looked in the 3rd fight, I thought both fighters looked awful after rewatching it Fury is vastly overrated in the historical context

I think poople have overstated the fight's merits because it was exciting. That being said Fury looked awful getting hit too much and was a lot more static. Wilder again just showed how limited his game is as again he was unable to take advantage of this.

In comparison to Hollyfield v Bowe or Ali v Frazier it doesn't look so hot as both of those trilogies demonstrated skill and an ebb and flow which Wilder v Fury lacked being fairly one sided. Props to Fury for grinding it out despite not being anywhere near his best.

No he just plodding forward grabbing Wilder in a head lock tiring him out, his defense was bad and he nearly got knocked out.

I don't honestly think we have never seen Tyson at his very best because I think like BJ Saunders he's pretty lazy and not dedicated to training.

As I've said he was probably fitter in the Vlad fight but offencively it was low output however his movement and feinting were very good.

The cmparison to Buster is more the fact that Fury has really only ever been an offensive force in the 2nd Wilder fight and that is it.

I think Tokyo Douglas is a far more rounded fighter and yes Mike was not training as much but he was still very young and dangerous. Busters resolve and persistance as well as his physical attributes made him a nightmae for anyone on that fatefull evening.

Buster Douglas is not a more well rounded fighter than Tyson Fury.

    Naw.

Masterclass performance, and he one he will be remembered for, but certainly not better than Foreman-Frazier, Ali-Williams, Tyson-Berbick, etc.

Tyson Fury from Chisora 2 was the best one in my opinion.
(Not the best of all time but the best Tyson Fury - don't know who the best heavyweight of all time is but think Fury would give any past fighter a tough night).
