Actually only Indian on dad side, the mum side has aboriginal blood and she carries the colours and flag on her. No one cares about her sexuality either except the left wing media / ABC that's why i brought it up. I agree who cares but we hear every second day that she has a new girlfriend or she's broken up with someone blah blah..... but overall this goes back to George getting limited coverage from them yet Kerr is on constant replay everyday with ABC.

I think we can all agree the map of Tassie is a pretty appealing cartographic feature.

GK has gotten a fair bit of exposure recently. Boxing is a niche sport in this country, it is what it is. Anyway, all good.

Regardless of perceived woke journalistic bias the fact is women's football is a pretty big deal down here these days whereas baxxin would be hard pressed to out do Lawn Bowls in the ratings.

And that's no disrespect to Lawn Bowls.

 

Look, I'm not well versed in Kambosos or Australian accents, but maybe someone can help me here. What type of australian accent does Kambosos have? When I hear him in interviews it sounds a little off, like he spent a bunch of time living somewhere else.

 

Greek-Aussie.

 

Fairly typical "from da area" accent you would find in the big cities like Sydney or Melbourne.

Usually of first or 2nd generation children of immigrants who were likely bilingual at home. Especially Greek, Italian, Balkans and Arabs.

My father in law is Greek..born here but both parents emigrated in their late teens. However he was a country boy growing up, so he sounds like your average broad Australian accent.

 

Someone needs to take one for the team next Wednesday night, order the PPV & provide coverage of what's going on right here.

Tuesday night's action might whet a few appetites for the following night.

Sam Goodman is a terrific fighter & Harry Garside's pro debut would be good to see. Your man, Jackson Murray is also in action I think. Might be enough to get me over the line.

* Grudge fight between Huni and Mckean could be on the cards for May with the showdown between Huni and Junior Fa looking likely to fall after the two management teams can't agree to terms.
* Huni hopes to link with Freddy Roach at Wild Card Gym before heading home.
* GK Sr says May most likely date for Gk Jr next fight.

Justis Huni v Demsey McKean as the main support to George's title defence in May would be nice.

Fighting Junior Fa second up after a spell might have been too much too soon. Let's see if Justis can beat Joe Goodall & then back it up with a steadier to keep the ball rolling. Fight the better credentialed Kiwis (Fa & Ahio) in the second half of next year.
