Floyd Mayweather Jr or Julio Cesar Chavez at 130 and 135

At 135 he beat a very good Edwin Rosario. He also beat Ramirez.

Any gifts he may have gotten, and that's debatable, were at 130 lbs (Laporte) and 140 lbs (Taylor, the second Randall Fight); or at 147 lbs. (Whitaker).

Chavez was very impressive at 135 lbs

That said, I still think Mayweather would win.

 

I'd pick Floyd at 130 (very close to a pick em fight) and Chavez at 135.

 

At either weight, PBF outboxes Chavez.

 

Weird logic. Whitaker and Taylor have different styles than PBF.
On the other hand, Chavez boxes a lot like Castillo. Chavez is just better.

Styles make fights. Chavez wins a UD against PBF.

135- Chavez ez UD

 

I like Chavez to either win narrow or lose a controversial decision at 130 and 135 bc I think floyd was more vulnerable at those weights despite being prime in terms of speed and power.

Above lw I start to favor Mayweather. Think it starts looking like sweet pea vs Chavez instead of Castillo vs Mayweather if that makes sense.

Either way its a great match. They both have the style and skills to beat the other.

Ironically, Floyd entered the ring HEAVIER at Jr. Lightweight than Chavez entered the ring at Lightweight.
